Well, most gun owners are GOP voters and white. The minorities that have registered guns, have a license to carry, etc....are also GOP voters most times.....sellouts to these liberals after the guns.

It is also a powertrip for control, if they can take this from you well then they can take that. There's nothing in the US Constitution about you owning a SUV, a ATV, HDTVs, etc.....so when they need assets in some economic collapse repo'g your stuff is legal.

Simple. When law abiding people no longer have guns, they will be easy prey for criminals. It's called redistribution of wealth. Satisfying the civil right to be happy. The nation is having a double time march into degeneracy and sadism. It's a sickness, not unlike the sickness suffered by Adam Lanza, James Holmes or Jared Loughner. Except on a national scale.

The country has been moving into the direction of depravity and degeneracy for a long time. It took a step when it embraced abortion, another for euthanasia, another with normalizing same sex marriage. These are symptoms of a nation that is sick. Now the disease is beginning to flower.

What you said... I agree 110%.

And what you said all comes with the continued war on religion.

No God - no problem. The liberals/progressives can make up their own morality as they go along, but it's ALWAYS in the direction of more and more depravity and perversion. It's NEVER towards anything that's good and decent.

And taking away your firearms will only insure that a tyrannical government can impose it's will on the people without fear of reprisal. That's NOT the way America works.

We established however some, although not all its [self-government] important principles . The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed;
---Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824. Memorial Edition 16:45, Lipscomb and Bergh, editors.

That about sums it up

It also means, if something happens you don't like, it isn't "the government" taking away your rights, it's the "power inherent in the people".

I guess the motives behind gun control advocates can't possibly have anything to do with the desire to see less people walking into schools and mass murdering 20 six and seven year olds, amiright?

When you walk into a political battle with a head full of strawmen fallacies such as yours, don't be surprised when you lose not only the battle, but the war.

Have you fools learned NOTHING after having your asses repeatedly handed to you the past few years?!?!

....And, you can't forget that big Race War, for which ignorant, White-trash prays, on a daily basis.

To defeat the misguided belief system which desires to push us further down the road to totalitarianism, you must first understand the true motives and intentions of your adversary.

When we attribute ridiculous and idiotic traits such as "they want gifts from Santa" or "the darkies want to kill whitey" to the opposition, then we are pre-ordaining ourselves to lose the war.

Remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. This current gun control movement is motivated by anguish over the deaths of children. If you do not comprehend this very simple fact, then you going to be blindsided by your own stupidity when the political battle commences.

When you understand the actual factors at work, then you are better suited to address the issue head-on, and explain why the proposed solutions are ill-advised.

WHY Do They Want Our GUNS? Easier to usurp people's Freedoms when people are unarmed.

Nothing is unchangeable but the inherent and unalienable rights of man.

The whole of the Bill is a declaration of the right of the people at large or considered as individuals... It establishes some rights of the individual as unalienable and which consequently, no majority has a right to deprive them of.

I see my point sailed right over your head.

Did you happen to hear about the shooting in Connecticut?

THAT is why gun control is back on the front burner. Not because of some stupid strawman fantasy.

Define "unalienable" and then prove they have an existence independent of political rhetoric.
