Why did the hussars use cords on dolman?

It is clear that they tightly tightened the stomach and chest. What is this for? Maybe for the iron armor sat tighter? How could this help in battle?

By "cord", what do you mean? a sash, belt, or the cording sewn onto their uniform?

There is nothing about military use.
