I have a three children who are public school graduates, all of whom went on to college, and three grandchildren currently attending school. Having taught in public schools for 20 out of 21 years in education, I think I know a little better than you do.

How do you explain your own stupidity as an adult?

Half the kids in my daughter's senior class didn't graduate due to pot smoking .That's the answer I got when I asked why graduating class was so small

If smoking pot caused them to not be able to graduate, I want some of that prolly some uh dat Mexico shit with fentanyl and heroin. The real problem was they were probably not able to pass the proficiency testing because the system is very hard on schools who don't show that students are progressing at a set level pass them all on and let the next years teachers deal with them. Then at graduation time it's oops they can't meet the standard.

You do realize that social promotion is function of the school board and NOT the teachers, right?
