That is a good question. Why does Communism fear Christianity? What is it about Christianity that causes Communist nations to target the Christians and demand the removal of Bibles and Christians who preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Why is the history of Communism targeting Christianity as their number one enemy so apparent?

In his book, Marx and Satan, the founder of Voice of the Martyr's, Richard Wurmbrand revealed a great deal about the founder of Marxism, Karl Marx. The title of the book is, Marx & Satan and it reveals undeniable evidence that Marx was not an atheist but rather a Satanist. This would explain why Communism fears Christianity. Wouldn't it?

"Two months after the Communist 'People’s Republic of Romania' was established, Pastor Richard Wurmbrand was arrested. Labeled 'Prisoner Number 1,' he was locked in a solitary cell, where he endured horrendous torture at the hands of the brutal secret police. More than eight years later, 'a doctor masquerading as a Communist Party member discovered Richard alive.' Released in 1956, he 'resumed his work with the ‘underground’ churches....He was re-arrested in 1959 through the conspiracy of an associate, and sentenced to 25 years... accused ofpreaching ideas contrary to Communist doctrine."

"In 1967, Richard and Sabrina Wurmbrand founded a ministry that would serve the persecuted church. Its name was eventually changed toVoice of the Martyrs. By the mid-1980s, it was reaching out to "80 restricted nations with offices in 30 countries around the world." His book,Tortured for Christ, became a source of encouragement among the persecuted throughout the Soviet system."

Richard Wurmbrand's book about Karl Marx (1818 – 1883), a German "revolutionary socialist," begins with a rebuttal to this misconception: that Marx himself was a compassionate visionary who truly cared for the poor. In reality, both Marx and Engels grew up in wealthy families, far removed from the life of poverty. Together they pursued an anti-Christian utopia that -- from the beginning -- focused on political power, not on meeting the needs of the poor. Like today's seductive vision of change, their socialist/communist transformation required a "crisis" and a "purpose" that would capture public attention and provide the needed momentum.

Here is some more interesting facts on Karl Marx. Did Karl Marx have a religion? It appears he did. It does appear from this evidence that he was a Satanist. His god was Satan and his religion was Satanism.

Look at this:
The Bible which Marx had studied in his high school years... says that the devil will be bound by an angel and cast into the bottomless pit (abyssos in Greek: see Revelation 20:3). Marx wishes to draw the whole of mankind into this pit reserved for the devil and his angels....[pp.12-13]
Marx had loved the words of Mephistopheles in Faust, “Everything in existence is worth being destroyed.” Everything — including the proletariat and the comrades. Marx quoted these words.... Stalin acted on them and destroyed even his own family. [p.13] The Satanist sect is not materialistic. It believes in eternal life. Oulanem, the person for whom Marx speaks, does not contest eternal life. He asserts it, but as a life of hate magnified to its extreme. It is worth noting that eternity for the devils means 'torment.” Thus Jesus was reproached by the demons: “Art you come hither to torment us before our time?” (Matthew 8:29)....

[Marx'] correspondence with his father testifies to his squandering great sums of money on pleasures and his constant quarreling with parental authority about this and other matters. Then he might have fallen in with the tenets of the highly secret Satanist church and received the rites of initiation. Satan, whom his worshippers see in their hallucinatory orgies, speaks through them. Thus Marx is only Satan’s mouthpiece when he utters in his poem Invocation of One in Despair the words, “I wish to avenge myself against the One who rules above.”

Was Marx a Satanist

Did Karl Marx's son and wife know that Marx was a Satanist? I've read Richard Wurmbrand's book, Marx & Satan. I believe they did know. Note the story about Marx son and how he addresses his father in Wurmbrands book. Also Marx father was a Christian and had great concerns with his son having decided to no longer be a Christian.

Wurmbrand found some "cryptic passages" as he read the letters between Marx and his father:

The son writes, "My holy of holies was rent asunder and new gods had to be installed."[p.16]

On March 2, 1837, Marx’s father writes to his son: “Your advancement, the dear hope to see your name being once of great repute, and your earthly well-being are not the only desires of my heart.... Only if your heart remains pure and beats humanly and if no demon will be able to alienate your heart from better feelings, only then will I be happy.” [p.16]

What made a father express suddenly the fear of demonic influence upon a young son who until then had been a confessed Christian? Was it the poems he received as a present from his son for his 55th birthday? The following quotation is taken from Marx’s poem On Hegel:

Words I teach all mixed up into a devilish muddle.
Thus, anyone may think just what he chooses to think. [p.17]

In his poem The Pale Maiden, he writes:
Thus heaven I’ve forfeited, I know it full well.
My soul, once true to God, is chosen for hell.[p.20]

Richard Wurmbrand said that if he could have in any way been able to lead Karl Marx to Jesus Christ he would have. It grieved him deeply that Marx was lost forever - now spending eternity in hell with unspeakable torment and suffering forevermore, the same fate was met by Stalin who also served Satan and according to his daughter even had a portrait of Satan hanging on his bedroom wall. He didn't repent at his death either.

In Wurmbrand's book he talks about the beginnings of Communism having an inner circle which they called "hell". Wurmbrand asks in his book, why did they call it hell? Why not betterment for the poor? Because the entire idea of concern for the impoverished was a deception from the beginning. It was all a deception. What Communism fears about Christianity is that Christians walking in holiness have authority over Satan and his demons and they know this. It is written in Luke 10:19 that Jesus has given the Believer this authority. Satan has no authority over the Christian who lives holy unto the LORD and keeps themselves out of sin. Communism operates under a cloak of deception, fear and lies whereas Christianity operates in truth and in exposing the lies so that people can be free to accept Jesus Christ and the pardon that He paid for at the cross for them.

Wurmbrand did witness Communists come to saving faith while he himself was kept in a Communist prison for approximately 17 years. His stories are found in the book, Tortured for Christ. The Communists put their own fellow Communists in prison and tortured them along with the others they had put in prison. There is no loyalty among Communists. They turn on their own because in Satan's kingdom there is no such thing as keeping one's word - keeping a vow or a promise. What Satan has promised his own workers he will never deliver on once they have died. He cannot deliver any reward because he himself will be bound up in chains at the appointed time and cast into the lake of fire. How can he give what is not his to give? Those who have been deceived by Satan and refuse to repent and come to Jesus Christ will spend all eternity in hell after they leave this earth. The horrors of such a fate are unspeakable and it is the duty of every Christian to warn people about this and to pray for the lost and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person who has breath in them. It is not impossible for God to reach the most vile sinner. Nothing is impossible with Jesus Christ.

Why did God judge Israel, Newby? Because Israel disobeyed God yet Israel belonged to God. Why is God judging America, Newby? Because America belonged to God. She was dedicated to God. That is our history. Yet we have disobeyed God and we are under the judgment of God now.

Connections that led to socialism, then Communism Was Marx a Satanist

Marx met Moses Hess, the man who... made him embrace the Socialist idea. Hess calls him "Dr. Marx--my idol, who will give the last kick to medieval religion and politics."...[[p.20]
Georg Jung, another friend of Marx at that time, writes in 1841... that Marx will surely chase God from his heaven.... Marx calls Christianity one of the most immoral religions. [p.20]
One of his partners in the First International was Mikhail Bakunin, a Russian anarchist, who wrote: "...here steps in Satan, the eternal rebel, the first freethinker and the emancipator of worlds...[urges] him to disobey and eat the fruit of knowledge."... He writes: "In this revolution we will have to awaken the devil in the people, to stir up the basest passions." [p.22]

Bakunin reveals that Proudhon, another major Socialist thinker and at that time a friend of Karl Marx, also “worshipped Satan.” ... Proudhon...declared that God was the prototype for injustice. "... Every step forward is a victory in which we overcome the Divine."... [p.23]

In Marx’s poems Invocation of One in Despair and Human Pride, man’s supreme ‘supplication is for his own greatness. If man is doomed to perish through his own greatness, this will be a cosmic catastrophe, but he will die as a godlike being, mourned by demons.

Marx' ballad The Player records the singer’s complaints against a God who neither knows nor respects his art. It emerges from the dark abyss of hell,

bedeviling the mind and bewitching the heart, and his dance is the dance of death....

Very disturbing evidence, isn't it? You see, America was founded as a Christian nation, one that was dedicated to God and blessed by God - above all the other nations of the earth. Satan could not cause our fall until he was able to remove our devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. How did he manage this? You are reading it - our churches were infiltrated, rock music played rather than holy anointed music that worships Jesus, false preachers preaching a false grace - the removal of sermons about hell, repentance, holiness, praying in the Holy Spirit, the narrow path that Jesus said we must be on. Our fearlessness is a sign of their perdition to them. The bible says so. I would imagine that creates a great deal of apprehension in their own hearts. What a reminder! Knowing what judgment awaits them in the end.

Even for those who do not believe in God they must consider the possibility and the truth is that if they are right that there is no God - then I have lost nothing - although I know that is impossible because I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and know that He is God.

But on the other hand when they find out that Jesus Christ is God and that they have left this earth without Him, they have lost everything and have eternally damned their own souls to hell.

How horrible to realize such a thing. To have heard the warning over and over again - to have heard the call to come and repent and be saved - and to have ignored it. To have known of the truth and rejected it and be placed in hell for all eternity knowing such a thing would be a most terrible reality to endure.

I pray that not a single person here suffers such a fate. I pray that all here with breath in them will repent and call upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save them. That they will turn from their sins and live holy unto the Lord and that we will all meet in heaven one day at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

She is informing you as to how she feels. You cannot speak for the Muslims as you are not a Muslim. If you were a Muslim you would have stated you were a Muslim. Correct? So let the Muslims speak for themselves.

In the testimony of Richard Wurmbrand there were Muslims who were tortured in the Communist jail he was kept in. He saw with his own eyes the torture they endured. So let them speak for themselves on the subject of communism because although Communists may have pretended to have befriended Islam there is a history that speaks a different story.

One thing I would not agree with from the earlier link - I would have to insist that Communism was first and foremost about materialism. Communists / Marxists are by nature materialistic people from everything I have witnessed about them. They want to live like kings. While the rest of the world serves them like serfs. That's pretty accurate, and what frustrates them and what ultimately makes them violent is that they are not able to convince us that we would be better off under their rule.

And God judging Israel was part of the old testament, not part of the new covenant, you've never explained or answered my questions in the other thread regarding God condemning a 'country'? The people of Israel disobeyed God, not the country of Israel.

God will judge every individual regardless of where they lived, do you deny that? You're too involved in politics and religion and pushing them together, Christ did not once concern Himself with the politics of the time He lived, nor did he speak of them. He spoke of individual salvation, not group or country salvation. You can do nothing to change what God's ultimate plan is, you can only take care of yourself and those that you touch throughout your life to some extent. Why concern yourself with what 'America' is doing, how can millions of people all be of one mind and doing the same thing, and why do you feel it's your 'doomed to fail' mission of making that happen? Why not trust in God and His love that things that happen are for His purpose, whether you see them as good or bad? For you to claim that you know that this bad thing or that bad thing is happening because of God's judgment seems arrogant, you can't know why things happen, whether they are for good or for bad. But if you trust in God, then you should not worry and let Him handle what you cannot.
