Of your points, half of them can be blamed on the modern Republican party as well as the Democrat party.
The "mind boggling deficit?...it was Nixon that took us of of the Gold standard so the Feds could print money without anything to back it up with...it was during Reagan's term that the U.S. began wholesaling bonds to foreign countries to hide the true increasing deficit.
Since 2001, the Federal Government has raised the debt ceiling - EIGHT times...prior to that...ONE time since 1917.

Hilarious. The two biggest costs to the country are government pensions and health care.

The majority of government pensions are "military". Republicans want to expand the military. Meaning more pensions and more debt.

The Herritage Foundation listed the top ten "free" economies. 9 of those 10 have government health care. The one that doesn't? The US.

Republicans want to put armed guards over our children. They want to monitor every pregnant woman in the US. Talk about "oppressive".
