"Credible sources" are few and far between in today's political world. Often, all some hack needs to write is that his screed is based on "experts" or "Officials" or.....You name it. They then go on to write pages of mostly opinion they SAY is 'based on facts" and, of course, they all claim to be "objective journalists."

I have found that only by actually spending time researching a news media claim can one even come close to the real events. Politics, being what they are, are the furthest thing from reality and every political side will inevitably puff-up certain details to favor their particular political talking points.

I think Trump has already proven he's for the people. He is not taking a salary, he withstands a constant barrage from the mostly leftist traditional mainstream media to such an extent that the MSM parrots DNC talking points. Heck, he was called a Russian plant at one point!!! 3 years of investigation and 0 evidence Trump did anything wrong. We find out that Obama's FBI was so corrupt they were making shit up and claiming it to be verified to a FISA COURT!! Our economy was doing great before Covid and, even though Democrat controlled States are fighting to keep our country closed down until the election, we see economic indicators doing quite well.

Not at all, thanks for the comment. I agree with you about credible sources. I was going to say "something that almost resembles a clue along the lines of a credible source" or whatever but cut it short. Trying to improve my writing I guess.

I have this little checklist for trying pick through news articles... it's like a full time job without pay...

• Collect a random sample of sources and perform independent probability statistics on the reported results [I'm not quite there yet on the probability statistics].
• Take each article, one by one, and look into the source (author, publisher, backers/funders/donaters... [for this whois.org is your friend]), then critique the writing for logical fallacies, cognitive distortions and plain inaccuracies (aka lies).
• What could be the motivation for publishing this article/video/book etc?
• Follow the links, references, citations etc and apply the same scrutiny to them. Does anything change?

Often "credible" is something far removed from the actual subject that it's outside the realm of acceptable sources for most people. I'm thinking particulary of holly wood movies and TV shows. Bread crumbs subliminally planted in movies is another subject for discussion but they are there and, IMO, they are incontrovertible. Because dark forces use occult symbolism as weapons. "Silent weapons for a quiet wars" and the creation of realities that otherwise would not "exist." I recently finished watching all eight seasons of Homeland for the second time. There is so much in seasons 6, 7, 8 that is too close to the present to be coincidental. They love to mock us too. Of course, who was behind that series? I haven't gotten to the Palestine/Israel sub forum here yet but I plan on it. That is another problem I have with Trump.

Only time will tell if Trump is "for the [American] people." The litmus test for me will be his actions after November 3rd on these lockdowns for this "virus/vaccine" hoax scam criminal tragedy. If he's not really for the people and only using whatever means at his disposal to get people to think he's for the people, we are in grave danger as a country. If he complies with eugenicist Gates, we've been double-crossed. If he puts Gates, Fauci and some other governor minions in prison, theeeeeeeeeeen I'll breath again. The whole fucking country will breath again. But a lot of them don't want to breath again. They like feeling like smug little muffins. This plot is the work of advanced AI btw.

Hope for the best but expect the worst. At least Trump hired Dr Scott Atlas recently. What is that about? Haven't heard much from Dr Atlas lately.

When I was growing up they were generous to veterans, their church, libraries all over my home state, and GHW Bush came home a war hero who almost died fighting in the Pacific in a plane crash. There aren't better men and women than them. Imho. It"s too bad the loyal opposition pranksters found hurting these folks was such devious fun and how many naive people believed all those lies. The world will never know what truly happened to his plane in 1944 now that he's dead. When he was alive, he gave conflicting reports about the incident. Some historians noted that he, as the pilot, should've stayed with the plane until the fate of the other two crew members was certain. We can never know. But I am inclined to the side that sees HW as the narcissistic, self-serving sociopath he was because of his overall history.

The big picture. I'm inclined to agree with those who say his "work" as CIA director saw state-sponsored terrorism against other countries escalate beyond anything close to reasonable proportions. Do you know what Operation Gladio is?

I'm also inclined to agree with those researchers who point to the Bush/Reagan/Clinton (yes, the Bush's are more than intimate with the Clinton's) which was responsible for importing massive amounts of drugs (especially cocaine) into this country as a weapon and for profit. Do you know who Gary Webb was? Have you read Dark Alliance or Compromised?

I'm also inclined to agree with many investigative journalists who say the Bush family played a role in 9/11. Why did HW as Carlyle Group assistant director meet with Osama bin Laden's brother on 9/10/2001? Did you know that? What business did he have with the bin Laden's? He was never questioned about it.

Oh, my. All I can say is that the kind of near death experiences in a plane crash could bring one or more hard blows to the head. I had a famiily member who came home with a trunk full of medals and a case of paranoid schizophrenia that the brave women of the homefront each had her own problem to cure, so if a family had problems, they were quickly skirted away in order to have friends over. Bills paid right, kids education time, etc like normal people. What can I say but war can be more hell if you win one than not. Maybe your view of things is more accurate than my sorry little czse, but Americans of the world wars had grave sorrows, and some men would waking up screaming at night, and all their women could do is motherly things of caring and working on his healing, and calm themselves with a cigarette when her husband went to work the kids to school. Everybody just dealt as wel as theycould with one of the most massive ptsd generations preceding Viet Nam, where starlets used their influences to paint pretty pictures of the commies and spit at vets coming home to a world that despised them openly and crassly. When im not here, im on my zero turn or in front of my sewing machine making quilts for aids or fatherless babies. There are some wonderful readers who share tips and great tomes with each other in the hobbies area below, and you might run into some who review the books and writing threads you'd find in "Writing." You'd be quite an asset down there, so hope youll try it. I just write haiku because the 17 syllables is so refreshing to my mind. Fortunately for me, from time to time simeone else takes pity oon me andconstruct the 17count haiku which really is great to see from my little view. Agsin, best wishes for being here with us at USMB.
