Who should name Scalias replacement? Obama or Hillary?

Obama is the only game in town now

In the last year he has.....Recognized Cuba, nuclear disarmament treaty with Iran, global warming treaty, saved Obamacare, gotten same sex marriage

Meanwhile......The Republican Congress has done nothing

Except to try and block Obamacare for the 100th time..:cuckoo:

.

Oh, Obamacare will go down the week of January 20, 2017. Be patient, it's going away.
Not a chance in hell. And if you believe that, you're being lied to...

Keep drinking the Kool Aid. Trump is the next President. We already have the House and Senate.
Thank God for you that projection isn't deadly. Trump cannot win, he can't get the votes.

Recall how you gloated when Harry Reid shoved Obamacare down the throats of the American people without securing a single Republican vote? Payback is hell. There's going to be a whole lot more payback coming. Get used to it.

Oh, there's going to be hell to pay alright, as the GOP senators are already becoming aware of.

And, I didn't gloat. Obamacare is garbage, but it's better than nothing.

Just like the Bush Medicare crap, also shoved through, it's here to stay.

Both Roberts and Alito were confirmed

Will Republicans give Obama the same courtesy?

Of course not. Obama is of little consequence now. He is old news.

Then you should be used to them not doing anything about Obama's appointment. Suck it up.

Obama will get his way
He always does

I disagree this time. Mitch McConnell, Lindsay Graham, John McCain, and the rest of the Establishment Republicans are reeling now from the ire of the Conservatives and many Independents. Lindsay Graham couldn't even garner 3% of the primary voters and had to drop out of the race. Marco Rubio just stated on television that McConnell will not allow a vote on anyone Obama submits.

No they haven't blown it. Anyone who saw a major increase in his/her Obamacare premiums, saw an increase in their co-pays or deductibles, had to pay a fine for not purchasing the lousy insurance, or even saw their employer supported insurance cancelled are potential voters. Also anyone who saw his work hours cut to less than 40 hours a week or had to go get a part-time job to fill in the gap are potential voters. Obamacare is toast.

Obama does not have any control over what Mitch McConnell brings to the floor.

Nope.....and McConnell will overplay a losing hand once again

I don't deal in possibilities and maybes.

That is how politics work

McConnell is playing a strategy where Republicans need to win the White House and Senate........ain't going to happen

You deal in things you want to happen and not in realities. You must first have elections and win the majority in the Senate. Get that and then come back and talk when you have something real to discuss.

McConnell is betting on an outcome that is unlikely to happen. As usual, the outcome will be worse than if he had tried to work things out.

Hillary wins.......the nominee will be Republucans worst nightmare

If they don' like whoever Obama wants, they really won't like Hillary's or Bernie's choices. Common sense would tell them to aprove the moderate that Obama offers instead of waiting for the liberal you know will be nominated after the election, but common sense is'nt so common for the right.

Obama has no choice but to select a moderate

Watch after the election of Hillary as Republicans will scramble to approve Obamas choice........it may be too late by then
