Who should be Obama's running mate?

I really don't see an Obama/Clinton ticket working. Why go through all this trouble of becoming President, just to be overshadowed by your veep. Seems like a lot of nonsense to me.

But, Clinton could bite at the chance, it gives her a huge edge in the 2016 election. It just seems silly that someone who has been at the forefront of politics for nearly 20 years should ride backseat to a newcomer who's still getting his feet wet. If anything, he should be riding backseat to her term, and then he can run after she's done. At least then he'd be experienced enough to know what the hell is going on.

Actually, you're right, I fibbed a bit. If McCain were to go insane and choose Huckabee as his veep, it would come down to who Obama chose as his veep.

I don't understand what you hate so much about Obama. His platform is not much different from Hillary's. I suspect you are choosing based on character and media drivel, and couldn't care less about issues.

Either way, you'd get your socialism.

I don't hate him in the least, I just feel he's a little green...and could use some more vetting, and yes some more experience with foreign policy and such...though I am certain he could find some solid staff for his administration that could supply such.

I do not want Hillary to be his Vice President though, unless he is comfortable with such...and she is comfoprtable with such...

I would not mind seeing Hillary considering him as her vp if, by any miracle she were to win the Super Delegates over, which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY as of today...

I don't like people I can't trust. Obama's associated with enough people in the past that I know I can't trust, therefore, I can't trust Obama.

As far as the issues, his 39 "Did not votes" from last year tell you all about the issues he's pushing.

Democrats could do what they did during FDR's campaign for his 4th term. Wait for the V.P. to go on vacation and take him off the ballot. That's how a dumb ass rube from Missouri became president.
