Why is Mainstream Media Refusing to Talk about the Absurd Funding Fossil Fuel is Giving the GOP Candidates?
— August 13, 2015

If you had any doubts about whose side the Republican Party is on, doubt no more. As first reported in the UK Guardian (not the US corporate media), eight of the seventeen GOP presidential candidates have been given campaign donations by a handful of hyper-wealthy persons – both natural and corporate – all of which have ties to the fossil fuel industry. So far, those donations total $62 million.

Read the individual dollar amounts at the link.

No wonder they're all against green and renewable energy.

omg, and how much money from UNIONS, Environmentalists, etc has paid for the Democrat party? WHY WHY isn't the media wailing about that? oh and lets not forget that Commie Foreigner GEORGE SOROS. you foolish cult members for the Democrat party, have lived off fossil fuels AND STILL DO yet here you are on you fossil fueled made computers bitching about it.

If that isn't irony and hypocrites all rolled into one, I don't what is.

Desperately derailing the thread, as usual.

Why don't you address the issue of any politician being owned by Big Oil? Or that they continue to vote more and mmore subsidies for Big Oil.

Sooner or later, Stoopid Stuff, you'll lose your government subsidy. Who will support you then?

Dick Cheney had a secret meeting with the fossil fuel energy cartel right after taking office and shortly thereafter California had an artificial "energy crisis" that unseated the governor.

Yes, the energy special interests do control the GOP and the evidence is plain as day.

That's why they claim to want to take the country "back"......they forget to add the word "ward" - cause Republicans want to take the country backward.
