Really is there any reason to go. Just as the kangaroo court held by Schiff this will also be the same. Nadler will do the same and not allow witnesses of the defense.
Actually what Schiff produced was nothing but hearsay statements. Rep. Stefanik blew apart Adam Schiff and the Democrats’ impeachment narrative as she got each of the witnesses to admit no bribery, no quid pro quo, no treason — no crime of any sort took place. In essence none of the witnesses produced exculpatory evidence. Even those witnesses that had direct contact with the president claimed there was no Bribery. Meanwhile each of Schiff's witnesses testified that delays in aide are common. Many testimonies were based upon personal assumptions, perceptions, presumptions and suppositions.
The main factor that became evident was that some of the witnesses did make reference to the impropriety of Hunter Biden's position in Bursima and Joe Biden's involvement.
All presidents have the right to override Congressional aide to foreign countries until they are satisfied where the funds will be used. Will Congress make the same claim and attempt to impeach Trump about Lebanon since the president has put a hold and refuses to send aide to them? Will that be the next discussion for impeachment or will the Snowflake PMS/DSA Leftist Democrats.

I would not testify if I was him. It is not an perjury trap.
