Which comedians will be spared the P.C. guillotine? Not Handler, Silverman or schumer...

Kevin Hart is under going a purge...he is becoming an enemy of the P.C. state, and will eventually lose everything he has created as the left wing asshats move to destroy his life....... all for things he did and later apologized for.....but the P.C. guillotine claims everyone in the end...

Now...in his defense, Nick Canon has posted homophobic tweets of various agents of the ministry of P.C.....you know, left wing comedians turned Secret Police........how long before they are on the block....?

Nick Cannon Defends Kevin Hart By Posting Homophobic Tweets from Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, and Amy Schumer

Actor-comedian Nick Cannon appeared to defend Kevin Hart, who stepped down from hosting the 2019 Oscars after backlash from years-old gay jokes, by posting similar gay jokes from female stars Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, and Amy Schumer.

“Interesting I wonder if there was any backlash here,” Nick Cannon said, caption a 2010 tweet posted by Chelsea Handler which said, “This is what a fag bird likes like when he flexes.”
---

Cannon continued, this time sharing a 2010 tweet from Sarah Silverman that said, “I dont mean this in a hateful way but the new bachelorette’s a faggot.”

Cannon captioned that tweet saying, “And I fucking love Wreck-It Ralph!” — Sarah Silverman stars in the hit animated film, voicing the character Vanellope.
-----

Cannon shared Schumer’s 2012 tweet, which said, “Enjoy skyfall fags. I’m bout to get knee deep in Helen Hunt #thesessions”

“I’m just saying… should we keep going???” Cannon said.

The gauntlet of shame will be forming soon, get your rotten vegetables ready and practice saying "Shame.....Shame.....Shame..." over and over again as every comedian and late night show host is eventually dragged down by the P.C. police....

Like everything else they ruin, the Left have killed comedy. It's no longer possible to laugh in America, not even at yourself much less anyone else without some snowflake taking offense.

This is one of the great jokes of the left...

F**k Trump......

And the audiences in late night t.v. show studios laugh and bray like mules....

Christ…he was a comedian telling jokes. We don’t hold actors accountable for the words they speak when they are doing their act on the screen? Do we really want to hold comedians accountable when they are doing their act on the stage?

Actors are reading what someone else wrote, in context of a story.

This guy decided that homophobic jokes were funny... the gay community decided they weren't.

Sucks to be him.

So the writers who wrote a story line get a pass because it’s telling a story? The producers who pay them get a pass why exactly?

“This Guy” wrote jokes and told them. If the writers in one art form are given a pass, the writers in another art form should get the same leeway I would think.

Actually, it kind of sucks to be Sarah Kate Ellis and the Oscars. Viewership has already dropped for all of the awards. We aren't watching the films they have decided we should watch. We don't consider what they have to say as important. Hart had already dealt with the issue. it was nonsense to rehash it. He turned around and played to two sold out audiences. So much for the suck.

Here's the thing. Writers are already the lowest of the low in the Hollywood totem pole.

Old Hollywood joke. "Did you hear the one about the Polish Starlet? She was so dumb she slept with the writer!"

Naw, I'm fine with holding people to account. If a white comedian was up there telling hilarious "N-word" jokes, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

JoeB..as wrong today as yesterday. :coffee:

The Academy recognizes excellence in film making; not what is commercially successful.

That is what it is supposed to do. It would be fantastic if that is what it actually did. That's why I, and many others, stopped watching it.

Chelsea Handler is considered a comedian? I thought she was nothing more than a glorified propagandist?

Doubtful.

Few would find it funny too. Kevin Hart said what he said and got the reaction he got; whatever it was. Some people took offense and we are where we are at.

Not sure whom the AMPAS folks can tap now if their standard is a sterile creative past.

Yet here you are burning calories at 3AM telling us how much you don’t care about the topic. Strange.

But that's kind of the problem.

When I lost all faith in the Oscars was when Star Wars lost best picture to Annie Hall. Star Wars was not only commercially successful, it was clearly a culturally significant film. But the academy stuck its noses up in the air and voted for a largely forgettable comedy by kiddie diddler Woody Allen.

I'm pretty left of center at this point of my life, but even I think they need to tone down their activism.

That said, they made the right decision here. Hart's homophobic jokes were unacceptable.

What's strange is how you manage to choose to be a piece of shit every day of your existence. You're a sad little it.

...and now we hear Google is censoring John Stossel.

Our Orwellian future is coming more into focus.

That is when you disagreed with the voter’s decision? Seems reasonably legitimate. Cultural significance is something that is imprinted later; the voters vote within 9 months of the release. What wasn’t legitimate was Shakespeare in Love winning over Saving Private Ryan. Travesty.

Agree with you about the activism. This whole affair is goofy.
