Where are the Trump Republicans?

based on their record over the last 50 yrs, republicans arent conservatives,,

just big government progressives like the democrats
Most of them, yes, but the Republican Party is the only one who has a few conservatives (real Americans). The Dem Party is a lost cause, they're completely in the tank for Marxism and have to be defeated. It's imperative to vote Republican for that reason. No other issue is more important.

Jeffery Toobin of CNN fame said something very interesting recently.

News commentators on CNN were discussing the many times Trump has lied or misled the American people. Toobin asked why should Trump change? He got elected acting the way he does.

I paused the television and thought about that. Toobin was right.

Trump tweeted six times before noon Monday -- following up on a weekend twitter tirade that sparked widespread criticism. In one of the Monday tweets, he once again attacked the "Fake News Media" he said was trying to blame him for Friday's mass shooting that left 50 people dead at two mosques in New Zealand. :roflol:eek:_O

These are some of Trump's comments and tweets today. They seem to reflect a certain amount of paranoia.

"The Fake News Media has NEVER been more Dishonest or Corrupt than it is right now," the president wrote on Twitter at 5:24 a.m. "There has never been a time like this in American History. Very exciting but also, very sad! Fake News is the absolute Enemy of the People and our Country itself!"

"Fake news?" What organizations is he talking about? He offers no substantiation of his charges, just blanket, meaningless, indiscriminate accusations.

"I was never a fan of John McCain and I never will be," Trump said, matter-of-factly, seven months after the passing of the longtime Senator and one-time prisoner of war. "I'm very unhappy that he didn't repeal and replace Obamacare as you know," Trump said. "He campaigned on repealing and replacing Obamacare for years, and then he got to a vote, and he said thumbs down. And our country would have saved a trillion dollars and we would have had great healthcare." For Trump that is a burning issue today.

Trump took a break from Twitter on Tuesday to meet with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. "I’m very proud to hear the president use the term fake news," Trump said of Bolsonaro at one point.

At the press conference with Bolsonaro, Trump also weighed in on what he sees as tech companies' bias against conservatives. "It seems to be if they are conservative, if they are Republicans, in a certain group, there is discrimination," Trump said. No one has any idea what he is talking about, particularly members of PF. Trump's fans have as much say as anyone else on PF.

"We use the word collusion loosely all the time and I will tell you there is collusion with respect to [social media companies], because something has to be going on," Trump said. What is "something?" Something is synonymous with anything. Again, no one knows what he is talking about.

"Look at what is happening with the networks, what is happening with different shows and it's hard to believe we win," he said. "But I tell you what it really shows, the people are smart. The people get it." What in the world is he talking about?

Earlier Tuesday, Trump launched his most pointed vitriol yet on lawyer George Conway, the husband of his senior adviser, Kellyanne Conway. "A total loser!" he wrote on Twitter.

“Have we ever seen this degree of brazen, pathological mendacity in American public life?” Conway said. “Whether or not impeachment is in order, a serious inquiry needs to be made about this man’s condition of mind.”

“His condition is getting worse,” Conway said.

WELL!
And that rant has what to do with my post?

Trump Republicans are not Republicans, meaning they are not true conservatives. True conservatives are strict Constitutionalists. They would never allow a President, even a Republican President, to assault our Constitution. They would never allow a President, any President, to challenge the powers of Congress based solely on rejection or a campaign promise.

Trump recently declared a national emergency for the expressed purpose of going around Congress to get funding for his wall. Because Congress denied those funds twice and they have sole power of the purse, that is a direct attack on our Constitution.

True Republicans joined with Democrats to prevent the Presidential threat to our Constitution. Congress passed a bill that voided Trump's declaration. Trump vetoed the bill. Enough Trump Republicans voted against the bill to sustain Trump's veto.

Put a different way, Trump Republicans in Congress voted to weaken the powers of Congress by granting the executive branch the power of the purse.

Now to my question. Where are those Trump Republicans? What are they saying? My searches for their statements have proven futile.

Trump, of course, never suffers from a loss of words, and in an idiotic way he bragged about his veto even though a substantial number of Republicans voted against him.

True Republicans who voted in favor of our Constitution also have made a number of statements.

Trump Republicans are mute.

One Trump Republican had this to say. “I don’t believe a national emergency declaration is the solution,” said Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., who warned of taking the country down a “rabbit hole” with future presidents seizing unchecked executive power. Then he changed his mind and voted against Congress.

“I wish he wouldn’t have done it,” said Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, echoing comments by GOP colleagues. Then he voted against Congress along with his GOP colleagues.

Many Republicans back Trump's emergency plan, calling it justified by the need for border security. They do not mention the border wall, which is the entire reason Trump declared a national emergency in the first place.

And they don't dare mention Trump's threat to our Constitution and the impact it will have on Congressional power.

It’s an outcome Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his leadership warned Trump against. For days, they publicly urged him not to declare an emergency. But with Trump’s signature Friday on the action, the Republican leaders are largely falling in line behind Trump. Trump's national emergency sparks new GOP divide in Congress

Since then, Trump Republicans have been silent on the matter. Why is that? Are they embarrassed they are supporting an issue that diminishes their own power?

Are they embarrassed of their support for Trump?

Trump is a very bad President. His own followers can't openly support him. They go into hiding.

Poor little thing, Trump used tools congress gave him, and cries when they can't stop him with the exact same rules they put in place that gave him the power in the first place. He didn't circumvent the Constitution, if anyone did, it was congress by abdicating their power in the first place. Grow the fuck up and realize congress gives away their power because they are lazy. They allow bureaucrats to write regulations they should be writing, but it just too hard for them to actually do their jobs.

Trump Republicans and Trump's fans are mute.

Pretending there is no problem doesn't count. Ignoring the issue altogether and giving us unsubstantiated B.S. from the Trump website doesn't count, either.

Most importantly, Trump's friends could not come up with any comments from Trump Republicans in Congress who voted to weaken the powers of Congress.

That is interesting. Trump Republicans in Congress are embarrassed of their support for Trump.

Spaming the thread with the same bullshit doesn't change the fact that Trump it's using power the congress gave him and is fully constitutional.

.

How many decades has Congress had to deal with border security and illegal immigration? Dealing with this is their responsibilty and it is one they have ignored for far to long for them to now complain about the President taking the lead on something they continually refuse to rings more than a little hollow.

Now to my question. Where are those Trump Republicans? What are they saying? My searches for their statements have proven futile.

You don't have a question, what you have is an excuse to once more, talk your hate on someone who, fare and square, beat your lying piece of shit murdering bitch of a candidate, and you and all your retarded brethren just can't stand it. If hildapotumus HAD won, we would be in a nuclear war by now, which is what you dumbasses were headed for.

Trump is obsessed. For the fifth day in a row he is attacking a dead man, Senator John McCain. This what our draft-dodging President had to say about a war hero from the Vietnam era.

Speaking to workers in Lima, Ohio, Trump could have talked about our tremendous economy and low unemployment. Instead he went into a tirade about McCain. "John McCain received the fake and phony dossier. You hear about the dossier? It was paid for by Crooked Hillary Clinton. And John McCain got it. And what did he do? He didn’t call me. He turned it over to the FBI hoping to put me in jeopardy."

In other words, in Trump’s view, a senator presented with serious and terrifying allegations about the president-elect shouldn’t turn those over to the appropriate authorities. No, this information should be turned over to the president-elect, and the fact that McCain did what most people would call the right thing only proves how much he hates Trump. That is an apt description of paranoia.

This isn’t the logic of a President, to put it mildly.

Trump continued his rant as the workers, many of them veterans, listened in shocked silence. “I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president, I had to approve,” Trump said. “I don’t care about this, I didn’t get a thank you — that’s okay. We sent him on the way. But I wasn’t a fan of John McCain.”

A good guess is that Trump is referring to the fact that he personally authorized the use of Air Force 2 to fly McCain’s body from Arizona to Washington. Other than that, no one has any idea what he is talking about, except for the fact that this is another apt description of paranoia.

Americans have serious problem. Their President is a sick man.

We don’t need a constitutionalist right now we need a warrior,, that’s why we voted for him..

You overlooked this important fact.

Put a different way, Trump Republicans in Congress voted to weaken the powers of Congress by granting the executive branch the power of the purse.

And this one.

Most importantly, there were no statements from Trump Republicans in Congress who voted to weaken the powers of Congress.

That is interesting. Trump Republicans in Congress are embarrassed of their support for Trump.

Now continue, go from there.

By the way, hate has nothing to do with any of this. That is a pathetic excuse to evade the main issue, a Constitutional crisis.

We don’t need a constitutionalist right now we need a warrior,, that’s why we voted for him..

And our Constitution can go to hell. Is that it?

Do you feel threatened by those impoverished folk from Central America? Geez, man, this is an humanitarian crisis, not an armed invasion.

We don’t have a country if we don’t defeat democrats. The Constitution is gone

And Trump is our leader? You have to be kidding me. Have you heard about his latest fiasco?

Ho-hum, Trump is again establishing U.S. foreign policy with a tweet. I am beginning to wonder why we even have a state department. They don't do a damn thing. Trump is his own state department along with being his own communications director and his own chief of staff and secretary of defense.

Surprising everyone, changing a half century of American foreign policy, and breaking international law, Trump tweeted, "After 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognize Israel's Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability."

The announcement hands Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a significant foreign policy victory, less than three weeks before Israelis head to the polls to decide whether he should remain in power. However, Trump says his decision to recognize Israel's control of the Golan Heights was not done to boost Netanyahu in a tough reelection race.

“No, I wouldn’t even know about that,” Trump told Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo in an interview to air Friday. The amount of ignorance Trump claims is often breathtaking.

Combined with Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital in December 2017, this is further evidence that the Trump administration is willing to ignore international law along with Security Council resolutions.

Of course, with the Mueller report about to be released, Trump is desperate to change the subject, which would explain his schizoid paranoia of late, meaning his comments concerning McCain, George Conway, and Mueller recently, along with his twitter rants.

If trump cured cancer you would say we don’t need a department of health and services lol
