First of all...it was passed and THEN we were told that they did not know how bad the economy was....so it was passed without accurate knowledge of the facts.

Second...it created...or....ahem.....SAVED....600,000 jobs at the cost of $320,000 per job.
The average salary of a "shovel ready" job is 40,000 ....so they created 600,000 jobs at a LOSS of $280,000 per job....while millions of REAL jobs were continuing to be lost.

And third....THEY ACTUALLY SAY THAT LOSING $280,000 per job saved is a SUCCESS!......but I digress....

Yep....no ohter legislation EVER wound up losing so much money with nothing concrete to prove even mild success.

Blogging doesn't help, but it does enlighten many, writing your representatives has done little for me, most of them do what 'they' want regardless. Has anyone noticed that these ' political urchins' thrive in the USA? Duhhhh, of course we do. They know that they can tell us anything, and so what, if they lie and deceive, 'what are you gonna do about it', is there rational. Clinton wasn't that bad, he made me laugh. Yes, there were problems with ignoring growing threat, but seriously who would have thought? Not Clinton and not Bush either. There were also problems with, "I didn't have 'sex' with that woman." More than a lapse in truthfulness, but then perhaps the question shouldn't have been asked?

Bush would have been a mediocre president without 9/11. I really, really hated the last two years, with the single exception of the surge. BTW, that was pulled out by much biting and scratching. I really hated his paving the skids for the bailout 2 for Obama, but the original legislation also sucked. I'll let history judge him. My guess is he won't come out too bad, considering.

Obama. We'll see. I think his history depends on how he can manage the next few months. He needs to change gears, quick or will be in a quagmire as not been seen in recent times. Those tea parties are very dangerous for him and his, they are growing stronger.
