When cruises go bad

the video is rather shocking...ship security seemed to be kicking the man more than those he was brawling with.....passengers locking themselves in their rooms outta fear?

Nothing good can come from being in the middle of the ocean.......trapped.

Ive always had an aversion to being confined for long periods with people who want to socialise.Them wanting to thump me is even worse.

Not sure if that company's security ever had to deal with anything like that. Usually all you have to worry about is drunk passengers falling down, and the occasional domestic disturbance.

This looks like two dozen members of the same asshole family being assholes, and some other semi-asshole families rising to their challenges.

Beware stupid people in large groups.

It is why Carnival Cruises is known as the Walmart of the Sea

The video doesnt really match up to the headlines. I thought it might be a bloodbath.

Wife and I went on a river cruise (Rhine- Main-Danube) last September.

Amsterdam to Istanbul, with Uniworld.

It was excellent in every way. No chance for brawls, as we were too busy eating, drinking, sightseeing and other activities.

BTW, our group was the last to visit Istanbul, before Uniworld decided it to risky to go there due to volatile political conditions.

Thanks Tommy - I always enjoy news about the Palin Family :)

Regardless of the unruliness of the passengers

Crew members should not be kicking passengers while they are on the ground

And then you have to bring politics into it.

What a fucking tool you are.

I've been on nine cruises and taking another in three weeks

I have never seen a brawl on a ship. I have seen drunken passengers and domestic arguments but never any punches thrown.
The crew seems to sense a situation getting out of hand and quickly intervenes before it can get unruly

I don't know how Carnival allowed that one group to abuse other passengers for as long as they did
