When the checker gave me my receipt, I noticed that I had been undercharged and brought it to his attention.

The checker was astonished that anyone would do that.

I then paid the $10 that I owed instead of the $4 that the defective computer had first rung up.

Well, when I order food delivery from a restaurant, I always tip at least $15. I realize that many of those drivers depend on their tips to pay the rent and buy food and gasoline.


I consider myself "rare."
