- The Sting Won. American Graffiti should have won.
- One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest won. Jaws should have won.
- Kramer vs Kramer won. Apocalypse Now should have won.
- Chariots of Fire won. Raiders of the Lost Ark should have won
- Amadeus won. The Killing Fields should have won.
- Titanic won. God Will Hunting should have won.
- Shakespeare In Love won. Saving Private Ryan should have won.
- American Beauty won. The Green Mile should have won.

There's an obvious bias in Hollywood against horror fliks. IMO, many have been Oscar-worthy down the years.

Rocky won - should have been All The Presidents Men
Annie Hall won - should have been Star Wars
Ordinary people won - Should have been Raging Bull
Driving Miss Daisy - Should have been Field of Dreams (Is this heaven? No, It's Iowa. One of the best lines ever in any movie)

Raging Bull awesome....., Taxi Driver...yea Scorsese was overlooked a number of times, Goodfellas ( it had the unfortunate though to go up against Dances with Wolves that year)...

I would have taken Life Is Beautiful over Shakespeare in love too...

Dances with Wolves.... one of the most overrated movies ever! Just sayin'.
