There was an immigration debate and discussion in the room, where the congressional representation was supposed to bring a compromise bill, and they clearly did not bring one to him. Then the discussion got heated, the exchange got nasty on all sides, not just his, and these nasty pols. took it to their Deep State paper with their common divide and conquer tactics to try to make him look bad with just another transparent and distraction ad hominem chunk of meat for their base, because they dropped ball on his olive branch compromise offer.
