What makes you say that. There is no indication whatsoever that we would have attacked Iraq if Bush was not the president. Afghanistan, yes. Iraq, not a chance.

I agree the economic crash would have occurred regardless if Kerry was President.

The biggest alternate Universe effect of a Kerry presidency would likely have been no troop surge in Iraq.

That would have not have been very good - at least the surge was somewhat successful.
