It continues to boggle my mind that Trump is still ahead in the polls, despite putting forth next to nothing in policy ideas. How can republicans be this stupid and naive? We have no idea what this neanderthal will do as president. The two proposals he does have regarding immigration lack any degree of feasibility. Repubs flock to it none the less because it is the kind of emotionally charged rhetoric they love to hear. That is how repub all stars are born.

Now repubs will say they like Trump because he is unafraid of the "PC police", but if they actually gave this thought they would realize how retarded this sounds. Calling Mexican illegals "rapists" is not only insulting, but it has no basis in reality. That isn't what you call "telling things like it is" when statistically it makes no sense. Crime among Mexican illegals is disproportionately very low.

Imagine if Hillary had said the tea baggers are a bunch of stupid rednecks. You people would not stop crying over it. That's certainly wouldn't be PC of her wouldn't you say? Do you not see the hypocrisy in that?

I don't know that he will but considering the total failure of the Republicans to do anything after their landslide in 2014 if he makes good on even one of his promises he'll be better than this Congress.

The problem with lefties is that they wish the presidency was a monarchy and they don't have the intellectual skills to figure out why it isn't. Trump merely voiced what most sane Americans think and that is we have to deal with open borders and criminal aliens. Democrats would rather throw money at the problem and forget about it. Secondly, their job (and promises) wasn't just to stop Obama but to author, promote and support legislation to fix what's already been done. None of that has occured.

We had 2 years of unbridled government, where one party was in charge.

The most horrific and destructive legislation was passed during that time. You are correct that they haven't repealed some stuff... but we already knew Obama would not sign into law legislation that repealed his crap, and we also knew that they didn't have a large enough majority to override his veto.

And we also know that some republicans are very liberal, and support his crap.

Nevertheless.... Republicans have held back the insanity. That's a benefit, no matter how small it may be. IF the democrats had complete control for the last 7 years, We'd be in a second depression by now.
