Many have done nothing but complain since the day President Obama was inaugurated in 2009. Basically, they scream because he’s not perfect, and sound like petulant children; adults don’t expect perfection. But when they claim he’s no progressive, well, that’s just an outright lie. What do these folks think “progressive” means? The root word is “progress,” and there has been a lot of progress since January 20, 2009. Admittedly, most progress happened during his first two years, but as I recall, one reason Republicans took back the House was because many progressives thought Obama was a “disappointment,” and Democrats were “spineless.”

This year, we repeated our incredible screw-up, and many progressives still prefer to complain about the imperfection of Democrats than to work to get rid of the right wing GOP.

Here is a list of many of President Obama’s accomplishments as President. Every one of them has a citation, so no one can dismiss them as lies. Every time someone complains that Obama’s not progressive, send them the link, or print it out and hand it to them. This list is growing constantly, even with an obstructionist Republican Congress trying to stop everything he does.

Being progressive is not about having the correct positions on issues. Even with the obstacles, this President will leave a legacy. If we want to win elections – and in a democracy, that has to be our main goal – we have to make people want to vote for us. That means accentuating the positive, and talking about how great we are, especially compared to the alternative.

Accomplishments are supposed to reflect improvement. Those you listed have made things worse. And they are loaded with opinion and not fact. There was no Bush depression. There is currently an obama energy policy recession.
Race riots under obama not seen in 23 years is not an improvement in race relations.

that's just the first page!
Accomplishments are supposed to reflect improvement. Those you listed have made things worse. And they are loaded with opinion and not fact. There was no Bush depression. There is currently an obama energy policy recession.
Race riots under obama not seen in 23 years is not an improvement in race relations.
way to twist the facts phobia boi!

This is what passes for discussion in the clean zone?

No wonder I don't come around often.

Same BS with slightly cleaned up language.

Well, he has:

> Started an unprovoked war in the middle east
> Let 9/11 happen
> Got blowjobs from a White House intern.
> Sold weapons to Iran and gave the proceeds to terrorists.
> Gave WMDs to Saddam Hussein
> Got bitten by a rabbit
> Pardoned Nixon
> Had minions break into Watergate Hotel
> Overturned the democratic government in Chile
> Escalated the Vietnam War
> Overturned the democratic government in Iran

Oh, never mind... I was thinking of other presidents...

I love one of of his accomplishments was creating a job, of course a gov't job paid for by taxpayers, to improve the gov'ts handling of money.

Created the post of Chief Performance Officer, whose job it is to make operations more efficient to save the federal government money.

WTF is that?

Accomplishments are typically things that improve things overall. You don't talk about an employees accomplishments of answering the phone, if their job is receptionist. An accomplishment would be their improving the way things are handled and saving the company money.

Obama doubling the debt in a few years is NOT an accomplishment.

Obama has done nothing to distinguish himself, certainly. On the other hand he has done nothing so catastrophic to make him an abysmal failure. However, under his watch little has improved.

He is a Carter-like president.

10 failures of Obama:

10 Ways Obama Has Failed as President

Some very serious things there. Much more significant than his "accomplishments" which were nothing more than Obama talking points.

His biggest failure, to me, was Iraq. He was wanting to pull out so badly that he did, leaving the country unable to defend itself and now it's being taken over by ISIS. That's 100% all on Obama. He ignored many warnings from the Iraqis, sticking his head in the sand.

He is a miserable failure of a president.

Much better for people in general would be a grand jury according to the common law assembled for the single purpose of judging an accusation of treason against any criminal posing as an employee of government; including Barry Soetoro or whoever the individual may actually be in that counterfeit office of POTUS these days.

People claiming that Barry, or whoever, is an authority of government may also be people claiming that the Bill of Rights are of the same authority as their claim concerning Barry, and if so, then those words in the Bill of Rights means something.

Example:
Amendment VII
In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Claims of immunity against jurisdiction of common law in America constitute inculpatory evidence of fraud. Now that may sound too complex for many so called lawyers, judges, police, or so called federal agents, including congressmen, and a so called president, but the facts of any matter remain to be found in a case where a fraud claims immunity.

What is the common law process by which an accusation is followed through with due process?

Rather than argue over which so called federal agent is better or worse than which other one, while dead bodies pile so high, why not follow through with the actual laws of the land in any case?

If someone, for example, were to have accused employee X of involvement in the murder of Martin Luther King Jr. in a timely manner, then the accused would have probably claimed immunity, which would then inculpate the accused as that claim would add a count of fraud to the existing list of accusations.

Since that did not happen, and since today is today, which possible accusations are clearly probable concerning the fraud currently occupying the white house today?

One lie told by the fraud, in order to deceive the so called voters, is one count of one crime in one potential lawsuit; according to the common law.

Failing that acid test does not nullify common law principles, the opposite is true, failing that acid test merely confirms that the fraud gains credit, rather than rule of law.

Do you consider Obola as a bad president?
Since his first term, almost everything I have heard I have regarded as lies, racism, extremism, and propaganda. What things has the sitting president actually said or done that would make him a bad leader?
We need active and lively discussion here...

It's simple........read this article and you'll have a small taste of what makes Obama the disaster history will remember him as:

The President Who Has Done the Most Damage National Review Online

The WORST part of his Presidency is that race relations are FAR worse now than they were when he was elected.

Some of that is no doubt due to the fact that the pigs who hate black people got stirred up, but he himself bears some responsibility for this as well.

This alone guarantees he will be remembered as a poor President.

I lost my job a year or so ago because of the health care issue. I am over 55. Obama was trying to do a good thing, with this affordable health care program, but He hurt a lot more people than he helped. 22 years down the drain to help some non working welfare mommas that never held a job put strain on our economy and society . Thanks Obama, thanks a bunch. Affordable health care? My meds costs have skyrocketed from 50 cents to 44 dollars How is that in anyone's wildest dream, AFFORDABLE?

Supports criminals over police
Gone into wars we have no business being in
Passed bad banking regulations
Pushed bad health care laws that harm people
Blew money on bad technology investments that went bankrupt

That's the ultra-short list.

Well he set a precedent of assassinating American citizens without due process, so there's that.

The ACA is a sell out from the get-go. Let us buy in to Medicare at a rate based on our age for basic care and let the insurance industry specialize.

He hasn't lead anything.

He only knows about corruption on the news and he follows the lead of others

His first inauguration speech really did call "Bullshit!" on the way the system is manipulated by the wealthy through complex regulation and corporate lawyers and then...... nothing.

:dunno:

By the time I figure out this mess, I will have Alzheimer's or died of a heart attack and it won't matter. I should never have lost my job to begin with. Thanks OBAMA. I hope He reads this.

Because he's not from my political party blah blah blah. There have hardly ever been any american presidents that were actually bad leaders. Bad policy doesn't make a bad leader.
