The entire GOP Establishment was against Trump, so this doesn't surprise me so much. Consider Nikki Haley who openly didn't support Trump, yet, she's in a high profile role at the UN. There are a few other situations sprinkled in, including Trump keeping Ryan and McConnell

That said, if Trump finds this stuff to be true or wasn't at least aware of it or told by Shah that he wasn't a Trump supporter from day one, this might cause problems. Thus far, Raj in my eyes has been a pretty strong supporter and said the rights things.
