We're The Problem

Neither side really gives a crap if a man died.

After the damage this man brought our country in the form of Citizens United, all thinking Americans shouldnt give a rats ass the piece of shit died.

I dont. But I do appreciate the fact he died this soon.

There is a God.

Oh, how lovely. The man ruled pretty consistent with the constitution, as he should. Sorry if that offends you.

... we say we want peace and unity.

Do we?

Seems to me we thrive on drama, division and controversy.
If everyone agreed and got along, it would go against the competitive human nature.
We have to fight our natural selves to be the best we can be.

Maybe you could be a little more specific? Or better yet, a lot more specific?

I'm talking about people as a unit.
Obviously, we all have different personalities, but collectively, we get what we want.
I'm not sure what aspect(s) of my statement you want specifics on?

We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

Winston Churchill

May there always be a Winston Churchill to stand up to collectivists.
I think the heart of the matter is that we are viewing the opposition in terms of Evil Nazi's instead of possibly misguided folks with good intentions but dumb ideas. When we dress our opponents as Darth Vader, of course there can be no compromise. If we ever have another Hitler to contend with, I too hope there will always be a Winston Churchill. But that is NOT the fight we are currently facing in American politics. It just isn't. Too many people on both ends of the spectrum are being DRAMA QUEENS.

I'm not against disagreement, as long as it is BENEFICIAL.

I won't even so productive, because, you can be productive in a bad way.....

But if it helps the Country, the People, I think disagreement to find what works best is optimal.
Disagreement without an open mind is just noise.

Some people you can't reason with. For example, could one reason with Hitler? Stain? Moa?

For some, it's simply a matter of abject power. That is all that matters to them

But it has to be an "obvious" evil.
The Democratic party is obviously evil.

I agree,,,the guy worked for the top 1% to undermine this country.
Ha ha!!! Goddamn, dude! I will give you credit: you are hardcore!

Jesus Christ, only a total moron can diddle away the complexities of modern politics, socio-economics, international relations, history, technology, and every other variable that establishes and/or influences the state of human existence and reduce it to:

"We got to be nicer to each other."

Yeah, go tell that to the suicide bomber about to murder innocent women and children at some cafe in Tel Aviv.

Damn it, Bonzi. I know you need constant ego-stroking attention, but stick to your ridiculous flirting and leave real issues alone. This op is absolutely ridiculous.

The Nazi's are Darth Vader?

What made them so "bad"?

Was it because they hated Jews and capitalism like the Occupy Wall Street crowd?

Was it because the Nazi's were environmentalists and passed animal rights legislation and banned guns and had an elaborate nanny state that any socialist would be proud of?

Was it their military conquest? To date, the US has troops in over 70 countries around the world. Not even Hitler could boast that.

Or perhaps it was the mass extermination of Jews who were considered subhuman.

Speaking of which, a fetus does not appear to be human either. Who knew? To date, there have only been over 50 million abortions since Roe vs. Wade.

No, I can't figure out why people compare Hitler to the powers that be either.

For the collectivist, there is no evil. There is just a winner and loser.

The victor will always be the judge, and the vanquished the accused.
