The show is basically about as immoral as a show could be, and probably could not be made today.

For example, the first season features a sexual relationship between a 15-year-old boy and his English teacher who is a 36-year-old woman.

While the characters talk about how this relationship is illegal, it is obvious the writers don't think there's anything immoral about a boy under the age of legal consent having sex with an adult.

I'm guessing the writers were most likely liberals..........

The show producers have no problem with sexualizing underage minors.
