Then by all means, let's get specific, if cuts are what we want. But the thing is, to really cut, we have to eliminate programs, entirely. Anything in the budget, gets funded, and much is beyond control. I.E. cut what we give folks in food aid, but more enter the program. Up goes cost, despite the "cut."

So programs to eliminate?

Medicare Part D? Sure. It's a fucking boondoggle that removes bidding on prescription drugs, and gives Big Pharma a virtual monopoly, protected from free market supply and demand. Fascist-like, not free market Capitalism.

Homeland Security? Hell yes. What's the risk of death-by-terrorist? 0.0001% as great as heart disease? Way less than death-while-walking? (car-pedestrian) And only a smidge more likely than death by midget in clown suit beating you with a didgeridoo? Yeah. That. So get rid of it, since it's a fucking monster, building a new HQ that will dwarf the fucking Pentagon, to protect us from, what?

And why must government assitance have Visa cards? Who the fuck put them in the middle of poor folks buying food and Walmart selling it? Why, just so the financial sector could jump in and grab a couple percent in merchant discount fees that Walmart adds to the cost of the food we buy? Stooooooopid. Get rid of it.
