That's too funny! But at the same time, it's scary. To think there are that many Obama idiots out there who would sign away their right to free speech is pretty unsettling. Great post.

I guarantee that I could get a lot of people to sign a petition that promotes changing our Constitution so that it is a requirement for teachers to teach from the Bible and pray together in our public schools.

A sheep farmer knows that one day he must cull the sheep, but thats a few years from now, culling time is near, as you must take control of the sheep, these sheep have teeth, and t these teeth must be pulled first.

Well, almost half of American voters agreed the most important civil liberty was to be kept alive, so nothing should surprise us

Yup.

Lots of people think the 2nd Amendment was NEVER about individual rights EXCEPT as it related to individuals associated with a STATE MILITIA.

I'm not sure I agree, but that sentiment has ALWAYS been part of this debate.

It's not hard to find dimwits in all quadrants of the political spectrum. And often they are the loudest advocates and the most devoted to their positions.

Easy targets ... but I'm glad they are so often targeted. Maybe they will serve as cautionary tales and encourage folks to take a harder look at what they believe and why so they don't run the risk of looking as foolish.

I understand that rationale and I think a good-faith argument can be made. I'm no constitutional scholar, but when I read the Constitution it seems pretty clear to me that the Second Amendment protects the right of an individual to own a firearm.

I do not think it guarantees the right to own ANY weapon of choice and I don't believe it precludes denying that right - for cause - as long as their is a due-process avenue of appeal.

Do you have one that's not staged? Don't you think it's kind of obvious, I mean, the double takes and the giggling? Surely you can do better than that.

Sure. Try these:
