Everyone will serve - Chmut made a prediction about mobilization in Ukraine

"Chmut assumed that sooner or later everyone will be forced to join the Armed Forces. According to him, this will happen gradually. They cannot take everyone to war at once, because Ukraine must function."

"Now, while you are not there, you have a unique opportunity to prepare yourself in terms of courses, study of materials, literature, correction or improvement of health, physical training and so on. But, in any case, let's call things correctly: we must be prepared that everyone will serve in one way or another,
Chmut explained."

Germany: Ukrainians put in ghost villages

While basic services are provided, the villages are empty: No shops, no doctors, nothing.

New Rules

Russia made changes to its recruitment laws. For example, if you get an e-mail about upcoming conscription, you may no longer leave the country. Before the new law a real letter was required. Fines for draft dodgers also were increased and the duty age has been raised from 18 - 27 to 30. The law passed the parliament and will apply next year.

Ukraine is turning hundreds of pieces of military equipment captured from Russia back on the invading forces, a new report says.

Ukraine has scooped up over 800 Russian artillery systems, armored vehicles, and other weaponry since the start of the war, including 300 tanks, Deutsche Welle reports.

Those have then been repaired where necessary, examined for crucial military-tech information, and often put back on the battlefield to be pointed directly back at their former owners, the outlet reports.

Among the weapons captured were Russia's prized modernized T-72 tanks, it said, while many items, including Grad rocket launcher systems, fell into Ukrainian hands during last fall's stunning counteroffensive in the north and east of the country, sources told the outlet.

"Russia is competing with Western countries to supply weapons to Ukraine," Col. Oleksandr Saruba told Deutsche Welle.

The German outlet reported that Saluba worked for the Ukrainian military center that receives and analyzes captured weaponry.

Ukraine has been making use of captured weapons and armor since the outset of the war — in March 2022 it announced that it had captured 24 Uragan missiles and had aimed them back at the enemy.

Ukraine to provide security guarantees to the West?

Some Ukrainians say if the West doesn´t provide security guarantees to Ukraine, Ukraine should provide security guarantees to the West in order to "self-integrate" the country into Nato. The article says that the Euro armies exist on paper only and can´t defend Europe against a Russian invasion.
The problem with the idea of Ukrainian security guarantees is that Ukraine cannot provide them. While their army is certainly stronger when it is about fighting spirit and experience, Ukraine lacks the means to defend the entire continent. It actually lacks the means to defend itself.

Ukrainian forces seized a village named Uroschaine in the Donetsk region that lies at a traffic junction. The DPR defenders claim that the Russian tank forces that were supposed to support them were busy drinking alcohol, instead.

"The armored units of the 37th Brigade did not want to support the infantry in the Uroshaine battle. They claimed their tanks were destroyed shortly after positioning.
In fact, half the brigade is busy drinking alcohol in the background and the officers are unable to bring them to their senses."
