Been hand sanding on the Corvette for 2 or 3 hours per day for weeks and still not down to the bare metal.
Now I've got tennis elbow and had to buy an arm brace to wear while sanding to stop the pain.

I suggest sandblasting...

I wanted to hand sand the entire car like a professional body man.
But it's taking way to long and wearing me out.
Thinking about renting a belt sander and use 40 grit sandpaper.
That ought to get me down to the bare metal pretty quick. ...
