Let me mention something here. VP Pence is afforded Secret Service protection. The Trump property has already been cleared for a visit by the president and only required miminum update. It was also close to the personal part of the trip. Staying in Dublin would've required an extensive move when the Veep finished his official visit to enter his family vacation time.
