When Gaetz made his Motion to Vacate the Chair, there was no clear front runner to replace McCarthy, Gaetz was just pissed McCarthy had actually worked with Mr. Biden to avoid a Government Shutdown.

Gaetz wanted extract revenge, he did not care about having a functional Congress (nor for that matter does JorDumb). ReNaziKlans shot down Steve Scalise because he is undergoing cancer treatment, never mind that Jamie Raskin (a Democrat) had undergone treatment and maintained a daily schedule as a member of Congress.

When JorDumb stepped in, he must have known that going forward he would have lost.

On the first round he lost 20-Votes.

On the second round he lost 22-Votes.

On the third round he lost 25-Votes.

Supporters of JorDumb resorted to outright death threats to members of Congress who did not for him and went so far to threaten to sexually abuse the wife of congressman who would not for him.

Threats and intimidation are used only when the person engaging in them has nothing left to lose. Instead JorDumb lost everything. In a secret vote his own caucus removed him as their nominee for Speaker.

The House cannot conduct the People's Business because the ReNaziKlans have no clue of what to do next. The Civil War going on in their party is destorying American Democracy, which is exactly what they want.
