Voter Suppression in 2022? Not in Georgia!

Ask yourself why they passed reforms. There was no cheating.
I don't have to ask myself. A large majority of Americans believe there was cheating and voter fraud, whether or not that was sufficient to change the outcome, and have doubts about election integrity. That is sufficient reason to implement laws, rules, regulations, systems, processes in which most Americans can be reassured their vote will count, will count in the way they voted, and that unauthorized people are not voting.

". . .evidence of around 255,000 excess votes (possibly as many as 368,000) for Joe Biden in six swing states where Donald Trump lodged accusations of fraud. Biden only carried these states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – by a total of 313,253 votes. Excluding Michigan, the gap was 159,065.

The point of this work isn’t to contest the 2020 election, but to point out that we have a real problem that needs to be dealt with. Americans must have confidence in future elections. . ."

Remember all the bruhaha about Georgia's election reform making it much hard to cheat there? The Democrats, led by Stacy Abrams (who has yet to concede her last election attempt), said the Republicans intended to suppress the vote etc. etc. etc. Leftists all over the country rallied to support that really REALLY stupid claim including the MLB pulling their all star game out of Georgia in protest.

It finally went to court and the court ruling was no suppression identified, no suppression exists, the election laws are legal and valid.

Georgia is now enjoying substantial record early voting in this election and by all indications the turnout will exceed 2020.

So who exactly had his/her vote suppressed?

Just because it isn't working does not mean it was not tried. There was clearly a effort to make it harder for people to vote.

A huge majority of Americans know there was no major fraud. in the election. Even Republican legislators in Texas and Florida admitted that there was no major fraud. There is no evidence unauthorized people are voting.

There were no excessive votes. Donald Trump provided no evidence of excessive votes and his lawyers said they were not alleging fraud had occurred.

Trump is a liar. He decided to claim the election was stolen before the election.

No. It was clearly an effort to give honorable people confidence that the vote is fair, honest, accurate. But even it it was what you say, it isn't working because there is a record turn out in Georgia right now.

Nobody's polls agree with you. ALL say MOST voters are concerned about election fraud and concerned about the integrity of the system.
Rasmussen is very typical of these polls:

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 84% of Likely U.S. voters believe the issue of election integrity will be important in this year's congressional elections, including 61% who expect it to be Very Important. Just 13% don’t think the issue will be important."
And the number of those who are concerned are increasing the more people like you say it isn't an important issue at all and the more Biden keeps signaling that there will be more opportunity to cheat.

And that is a lie on your part. He did no such thing. He expressed concern about election integrity--the same concern that 81% of American voters now have--

You probably missed Biden's speech this week in which he prepared the nation for a possible loss in next week's election and said it would be because of Republican cheating because Republicans are a threat to democracy.

Please link to where Abrams conceded. As for lawsuits--democrat governors kept Trumps admin tied up in courts for frivolous suits for his entire admin. Try again hypocrite.

Nope. Trump is the one filing lawsuits.

Nope. Trump is the one filing lawsuits.

You've been hiding under a rock for 5 1/2 years. This came from YOUR NBC after one 30 second search. Educate yourself. State AGs have sued the Trump admin. 138 times — nearly double those of Obama, Bush

They conceded and didn't file 64 lawsuits.

And not the same thing but pertinent to the thread:

"Continued record voter turnout in Georgia following the Biden administration’s lawsuit against the state alleging racist voting practices and the president’s accusation that the system is "Jim Crow 2.0" has at least one Georgia election official looking for an apology from the administration.

"How many turnout records do we have to break before Stacey Abrams and President Biden apologize to Georgia?" Gabriel Sterling, Chief Operating Officer of the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office, told Fox News Digital in a statement Friday after his office released numbers showing a continued surge in voting in the Peach State. . ."
