It is not clear who fired the fatal shot...it appears the cop that fell down had his weapon pointed towards the guy....but there were two more running to the scene apparantly firing.

The cop who took off running must have panicked when he fired and missed the guy rushing towards him with a machette....I think he only fired twice before he took off running....how many rounds were in his pistol? Certainly more than two. He should have stood his ground ane kept firing...at such a close range he should have been able to hit hlim at least once...but to take off running and then fall down. Pathetic

This sort of ineptitude is no doubt heavily influenced by the fear so many police officers have now of shooting a black and then being charged with murder....happens time an again---so I am sure in the back of their minds they tend to be too passive especially when their life is in danger.

This cop was very fortunate...if someone had not managed to put a bullet in the crazed African a second before he swung the machette there would likely have been a dead cop on the ground.

This is why police are allowed to shoot fleeing suspects in the back. That cop fucked up and it nearly cost him his life. Always shoot them in the back the moment they run away.
