This is a public service announcement. It is quite personal, but, hey, nobody who reads this garbage knows who I am anyway, so what the hell...

I am 64 years old and in the past few years there have been a few times when there was, let's say, a shortage of lead in my pencil. The first time I was very distracted and wrote it off to that, then it was something else, then it happened a few times when there wasn't any reason for it. Except, of course, that I'm getting old.

If you've read any of my other postings you may be aware that I'm in very good physical condition for a person of my age; I bike, play tennis, lift weights, etc, and my athletic performance is probably in the top couple percent for my age group in most things. But it hasn't guaranteed that I could come up with the goods when I want to. This is surprising to me in a way, because the issue is generally related to one's circulation and my heart is in outstanding condition. Whatever.

Several years ago my urologist gave me a couple samples, one of Viagra and one of Cialis. Four or 6 pills each. I tossed the Cialis and kept the Viagra in my drawer, "just in case."

The first time I used it was strange of course. I remembered the cautions in the television commercials about, "If you have en erection lasting longer than four hours..." Good God.

But I popped the pill about an hour before bed and hoped for the best. My wife is a compliant sort, so I knew that she would be game if I made the usual "moves."

Surprisingly, Viagra does not "enhance" the experience for me, sensually speaking. But as advertised, my member assumed the appropriate posture at the appropriate time, and we went about our business.

At my age, the urge to ejaculate is long gone, and I can suppress that urge and continue the activity pretty much as long as I want. With Viagra, however, this takes on a new dimension. The activity can be continued INDEFINITELY, without any concern that the member in question will go to sleep (and not wake up again). As a result, the activity is greatly enhanced for my wife. An activity that normally took - I don't know - 6-8 minutes, now can easily be made to last 20. Or longer.

It's all up to me, which is the way it's supposed to be.

BTW, my wife doesn't know about my chemical adventures and I have no plans to tell her. I keep the pills in my toolbox in the garage.

The final question I had in my mind was, of course, what happens when the deed is done? Am I going to be going to the Emergency Room at 3 a.m. with a bulge in my shorts?

No. When it's over, it's over.

All in all, a good product.

I will also say, I checked with my pharmacist about getting a prescription filled, and the price quoted was (hold on to your coffee cup) $229 for 9 pills! There is no way in hell I would ever pay that much. So I looked around on the internet and ended up paying about $60 for about 40 pills (50mg). I think they were actually shippied from someplace in Mexico, but they are the real deal (same appearance and markings etc as on the pills I got from my urologist, and they work the same).

Is anyone else out there willing to admit they have had similar or analogous adventures? Any tips on the best websites to buy the stuff? I didn't keep a record of where I bought last time because it was one of hundreds that seemed to be selling it for about the same price.

Don't tell my wife.

I haven't had this problem yet, but I plan to try it if ever the hanging head syndrome manages to visit Me more than a few times in a row.

You should probably tell your wife, however. Its only fair, and of course, pay for it out of your own pocket. I'm not responsible for your erectus hornius......

You mean I can't get the GUB'MINT to pay for this shit?

What did we elect Barry for, if not to get as much free stuff as possible?

Dang!

Don't tell my wife.

I had prostate cancer and had it surgically removed. Following surgery, I couldn't achieve an erection. My doctor prescribed Cialis pills to see if that would help matters. Didn't work at first, but that was probably just me recovering from the surgery. A year after surgery, it does the trick for me now. BTW, there is a generic for Viagra now. It is called Sildenafil. Much cheaper and effective too.
