USA (ACA mainly) Health system v. other countries

The original assertion is based on subjective parameters (such as availability). This is why the WHO rates the U.S. so low.

Our health care system is great.

It is our health insurance system that needs a serious overhaul.
As though availability is subjective.

Again no data is presented to support denial in the face of data presented to back up the original assertion.

Same ol', same ol'.

By all means, define availability.

For the average person who is not in the first tier, that is their choice. Which is your choice?

That's a good question.
Which you do not answer. Again.

I don't need to.

If you really believe that everyone has access to the same level and quality of care as everyone else (regardless of cost), then please state so.

If you believe that single payer will do that, you may state that also.

I am not the one yacking about our health care system.

Which, again isn't a problem. It's our insurance delivery that is a mess.

Maybe it's incumbent on you to show that it isn't so.

Are you talking about elective surgery? You're right. A "Cadillac" plan will cover the cosmetic facelift to make you look 20 years younger. A standard bronze or silver plan probably won't. But if you need facial reconstruction due to an accident, you'll get the same level of care from any plan.

You'll get the doctor who takes your plan.

Experience tells you that different types of doctors will take different types of insurance.
