The train wreck known as Trump has been swaying close senate races to the blue and he will continue to so when he gets his ass wiped in the debates belt Democratic friendly moderators and forums and a shifty Clinton who Trump has provide a ton of ammo to.

RealClearPolitics - 2016 Election Maps - Battle for the Senate 2016

2 foresure flipping blue: IL and WI
2 likely to flip blue, according to polls: NH, PA
Then you have the toss ups:
R: AZ, FL, IN, MO, NC and OH

I highly doubt AZ,IN, MO or NC flip, but I could see FL or OH flipping. In reality they only need the IL, WI, PA and NH, because the VP will be the tie breaker. However 51 would be very symbolic.

When Clinton wins you can bet your ass senate rules change from filibusters to majority rule!

Who knows the effect Trump's fall will have on the House. I predict a decline, but the GOP will hold a strong majority.

As long as the DEM's do NOT get 60 then Cruzzer and Rand Paul can filibust until Hell freezes over and NO new SCOTUS justices will ever be appointed.

As senators Cruzzer and Rand Paul have been fairly worthless the past 6 years. However now they just might prove useful after all.

Then after Ginsberg retires thinking she is picking a good time to go, the High Court will be down to 7 and again equally balanced with Kennedy as the swing vote.

There is nothing in the US Constitution that says there must be 9 justices.

Seven is just as good.

Filibuster Supreme Court nominees for four years...? I really doubt that's going to fly.

What would stop the Dems from filibustering when there's a GOP president for four years at that point then?

Looking like 53-47

How so! It could be tough for the D's to even get to 51.

What?? WI, IN, and IL have practically become gimmes, beyond that NH, PA, and FL look quite vulnerable. That's 52-48 right there. From there there's a number of potential swing seats like OH, NC, MO, and maybe even AZ. If Hillary has big coattails it could end up 56-44.

IL and WI are foresure, but the D's are not taking conservative IN. NH, OH and PA are very vulnerable, but they will be highly competitive and all 3 will be needed to get to 51, hence make it tough to get to 51.

You can dream about big upsets. In MO even with Akins making that asshat comment the D only won by 3 pt. OH and PA have popular sitting senators. Again you won't win IN and AZ will be equally out of reach.

Enthusiasm for the top of the ticket will carry HRC to victory and the democrats as well in OH and PA

The GOP hates the supreme court and wants it gone. Their plan might be to filibuster until all the justices retire and then bam, no SC for them to worry about.
