It will be better than nasty.
If DeSantis gets the nomination....by the time he and Trump get finished tearing each other apart MAGAts will stay home and refuse to vote for DeSantis out of spite thus sabotaging the Republican vote.
If Trump gets the nomination....by the time he and DeSantis get finished tearing each other apart moderate Republicans will be so repulsed by Trump (as we saw with Trump-like candidates last November) that they will either stay home or vote Dem.
Add to this cluster-fuck for the GOP the fact that Dem turnout for the 2024 General Election is likely going to be historic and unprecedented after these recent regressive SCOTUS rulings....and WOW!
Dems will have BOTH houses of Congress AND The White House!
Republicans always seem to be their own worst enemy.
