Ukrainian politicians went into hysterics:
after forty thousand killed during the five-year war in the Donbass the law on simplified procedure of obtaining of Russian citizenship by the Russian-speaking residents of a warring Donbass has been signed by Putin.
In our opinion, three factors have become a catalyst for this political decision:
- the corrupted ethnically non-Russian political elite in power realized that the money stolen from the indigenous peoples of Russia and invested in the Western economies was hopelessly lost;
- Ukraine adopted a law on the total Ukrainization of its ethnically diverted population;
- the recent election of a new president, who unequivocally expressed his desire to fight for the forcible return of the Crimea and the pro-Russian, Russian-speaking population of the "separatist" republics of Donbass.
Our political forecast:
without a doubt, the governments of Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Russia will take retaliatory (including, and possibly military) measures to protect Hungarians, Romanians, Slovaks and Russian-speaking Rusyns from ultra-nationalistic policy of the Ukrainian parlement and government.
