In the post-modern world of political correctness, bedfellows make strange politics. High end prostitutes that perform in front of cameras, better known as porn actresses, and men who prefer sex with men that used to be known as homosexuals dot the political landscape as “star sex workers” and “prominent gay journalists”.
For better or worse, this is the society we live in.Thus we are faced with the upcoming saga of Stormy Daniels and Anderson Cooper as they turn the once respected, American television newsmagazine, 60 Minutes, into a cheap reality show attacking a sitting US president.
There has never been a US president that could qualify for sainthood on any level and reasonable people know that but the intelligence of the American people has been getting lower over the decades so American journalism has adjusted itself downward to compensate for and capitalize on the eroded intellect of viewers and readers.
This is something that should concern all of us; at least those of us who can still think. The current president is a real and present danger to a status quo that has been selling out the American people since Daniel Patrick Moynihan first issued his warning in 1965 that turning American citizens into dependent sheep was a bad idea for democracy.
Disappearing job opportunities along with pensions and medical benefits have been par for the course for a political establishment that has been backstabbing average Americans to hand them over to globalization. The US political establishment is mobilizing to take out a president that is exposing it. It will use any means necessary and American journalism is eagerly onboard.
Stormy Daniels has processed enough body fluids to rival a public urinal in a major metropolitan airport and Anderson Cooper’s uncloseted lifestyle choices speak for themselves. These are not your father’s Walter Cronkite and Edward R. Murrow. They are freakish examples of an absurd idiosyncratic chicness people feel if they put characters like this on some kind of politically correct pedestal and endow them with a kind of weird star power.
There are way too many liberal arts colleges in the United States and this probably accounts for the slipping cognition of the population under the influence of the propaganda ministries of American journalism.
The Unites States is not just going downhill; it’s going down the drain. Weed, alcohol and buttered popcorn will rule the day when the segment airs.
