Unless we get 400K+ jobs created in the final month of 2017, this year will be the least jobs created in the last 5 years.

2013 - 2.3M
2014 - 3.0M
2015 - 2.7M
2016 - 2.2M
2017 - 1.8M + Dec

Number of American jobs lost to overseas competition is already at 93,000, above the 87,500 annually over the past 5 years. Our trade deficits are rising. For the first time in 7 years, there are more homeless in US.

Yet you listen to Lying Donald's supporters and they think the second coming of Christ has happened.

Trump has been riding the coattails of Obama the past year. You'd think with all the cheering that something great has happened with the economy. Unemployment went from 10.2% - 4.8% under Obama and they said the economy was the worst ever. It goes from 4.8% - 4.2% and they hail it as moving mountains.

These are people that are secluded from reality.

The tax bills a joke for many reasons. The fact that it attacks college students and the middle class is a first class loser..

But even if it was just a tax break for the rich it wouldn't do anything. Why? Because most smart as trump would call it rich pay far below 20% in taxes as they go through loop holes and offshore.

Most of these corporate barons would whether pay 25 cents per hour to some african negro or south asian serf then Americans workers. Why do you think they offshored in the first place? They offshored because they're greedy mother fuckers.

One of the main reasons that the middle class should get a tax break and the rich should get a raise is the reality that the middle class with the right kind of import tariffs probably will create more business(competition) and could keep their jobs here in America.

Those are some pretty compelling links you dropped there...

I'm still wondering why corporate tax cuts are going to be permanent, but the tax cuts for actual citizens will expire after a while?

The Dems should introduce a bill next year to make the tax cuts for actual citizens...permanent.
They could even make it larger.

Dems are all about letting people keep more of their own money, eh comrade?

The OP made those numbers up. Notice they didn't provide a link. If you google this information, it's not true.

Truth: 8.7 million jobs were lost in Obama's first 2 years as president.

Trump: Over one million jobs CREATED. In less than a year in office.

I'll take Trump, thanks.

Underwhelming at best. And unlike the OP I'll provide a link:

All employees, thousands, total non farm, not seasonally adjusted
December to December change
2013 2,328,000
2014 3,035,000
2015 2,736,000
2016 2,095,000
December 2016-November 2017: 2,349,000
The OP was probably using the seasonally adjusted data or January-December numbers. But the numbers for this year are definitely worse than 2014 and 2015.

But you really can’t compare Obama’s first two years, starting in a recession with Trump’s first year starting in a time of large job gains

Thanks for showing how Obama would have had more job growth during his 8 years than Reagan had if he hadn’t been saddled with Bush’s Great Recession.
