The left never reacts to the draft until a republican is in the White House. I don't think we should draft women as some kind of payback for the asinine decision that authorized girls to serve in combat.

Okay liberals, you can start circling the wagon on this one too. If you're between 18 and 25 though, you might get a little nervous. But if you're a true Obama supporter, you shouldn't mind serving a couple of years in the military, or sending your kids off to serve the messiah.

When I lived in Germany, all young men between the ages of 18-25, who were not in university, were required to either serve 18 months "under arms" or 24 months in some other "civilian" capacity. Hold in mind, Germany is (and most likely remains) a socialist state. I see a couple of issues that would need to be addressed with such a program here.
First: service should be voluntary. I see no reason why women in the same age group should be excluded, but the possibility of motherhood has to be taken under consideration and addressed.
Second: I don't see the public employee unions agreeing to this type of program. Since the unions have already bought and paid for the support of law-makers, I seriously doubt we will see such a program.

Well, since it seems nobody from the right is interested in finding out the story behind this video, I did it.
It wasn't easy. The video is found on just about every anti-Obama, right-wing loony website in the country, complete with reams of OMG! OBAMA comments. Yet, none seem to have the truth of it posted. I can't say if that's because they don't care about the truth or if they're just too lazy to bother.
Here's the facts:
In the first place, it was filmed in 2008, while Obama was still running for his first term.
This is a youth group at a publicly funded charter school in Kansas City, MO called The Urban Community Leadership Academy. It's chief source of funding was from Central Missouri State University. The Assistant Dean of the school told News Busters they'd disbanded the group because the "teacher" was pushing his personal political agenda.
In 2011, Central Missouri State withdrew its support for the school because of academic and attendance failures.
So far as I can determine, the school no longer exists. If anyone can say differently, please post it here.

Bottom line? It's not a conspiracy, folks. It was just one, small group of kids under the influence of one radical teacher in one little school and not indicative of anything. There's literally nothing to suggest Barack Obama even knows anything about it.
But, of course, that's not important to the OMG! OBAMA Brigade, is it?

Refuting? What is there to refute? The videos were made, children were brainwashed to support Obama. Seems YOU'RE the one avoiding the truth.Thanks for the additional videos, but I'm not going to spend all day refuting an endless number of anti-Obama videos one by one. You can do that....IF...finding out the truth means anything to you.

I don't excuse anything. We just don't see it the same. What you see is evidence of some monstrous conspiracy. I see isolated incidents, usually driven by an excess of zeal on the part of someone, but not a part of anything grand and sinister.

It's a great liberal idea. Too bad it wasn't in effect when Bush/Cheney needed volunteers and not enough of the people who supported the two wars signed up.
