Russians haven't fought in a door to door urban environment since WW2, not even in the Soviet-Afghan War. They're taking heavier losses of personnel and equipment than what's being reported and once they're being engaged in the cities, it's going to get pretty bloody for them.

Russian army tactics have always been to surround a city, cut off food supplies so the people starve, and pound it into submission using heavy artillery and bombing from the air until they surrender.
Which is happening right now to several major Ukrainian cities..

Well, if you’re going to fight for Russia, you have rejected every single Principle that this nation has ever fought for. You’re embracing totalitarianism, which we eschew. So our values are not yours.

You’re free to go, and I suppose there is nothing we could do to stop you from returning. But everything that Putin stands for, is an anathema to America.

So why would you want to return? We are rejecting those ideals you are apparently willing to fight for, and moreover, so is the rest of the world. Which is surprising, considering that we agree on almost nothing else.

Then what? You do realize that Russia is going to have to completely rebuild all those cities to make them habitable again, right? The Russian Ruble is worth almost a penny today. With their economy in a shambles from the sanctions, and their massive military expenditure, how are they going to pay for that?
