President Obama, whose party was trounced in last year’s midterm election due in part to poor turnout among Democrats, endorsed the idea of mandatory voting Wednesday.

“It would be transformative if everybody voted,” Mr. Obama said during a town-hall event in Cleveland. “That would counteract [campaign] money more than anything. If everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country.”

The real issue is that the Obama drones only show up for Presidential elections. They are so low information that they probably don't realize that there are mid term elections, let alone know who won them.

The issue is, the American population has been dumbed down. They have also been indoctrinated to accept collectivism. This means that people now look to one man, the President, for all their wants and needs. So why should they vote for other people, especially for a Congress that gets told what to do by the President and a Congress that fails to ever stand up to him and is constantly giving up their power to him?
