You are confusing Reddit and Instagram with Twitter. Except Instagram promotes child pornography. I don't look at Instagram....like ever....and Instagram has been assigning every user (bot or otherwise) a Threads account claiming that they are now users of its new platform.
But the FTC and SEC are looking into it. Musk is suing Meta for the cheap, Twitter knockoff that literally stole the code. Meta Didn't even try to hide it either.

They are losers....just don't want to face dissenting voices on politics or morality.

But Instagram is most definitely promoting CP.

Apparently the couple posted the pornographic materials and now claiming they didn't intend to. And are facing criminal charges for doing so. "I didn't intend to rob the store at gunpoint....I am a robber who uses guns but I didn't intend on robbing that store" is an equivalent of what they are saying. It's crap....complete bovine excrement.

Porn is not allowed on Twitter....which as a guy who doesn't view the stuff I appreciate...because I'm an obvious heterosexual male and I get enough crap of bikini girls on YouTube that I don't care anything about. I'm an old curmudgeon happily married....stupid Gen z girls running around in underwear or some other revealing clothes is just annoying.

Twitter has lost almost half of its advertising revenue since it was bought by Elon Musk for $44bn (£33.6bn) last October, its owner has revealed.
He said the company had not seen the increase in sales that had been expected in June, but added that July was a "bit more promising".

He has a big number to find at the end of the month. The article speculates that this might put pressure on Tesla shares.
It’s all looking a bit of a disaster. Maybe providing a platform for rapists and people trafackers isnt profitable ?

Usually, because I am a guy, suggestions of viewing at least soft core scantily clad women comes up....but it hasn't yet. I've not seen that at all like it would if I Googled something that might be a double entendre like cheesecake or popcorn.

Twitter functions better, pays better, and isn't as annoying as other social media sites. Sure there's advertising....but nothing obnoxious....unlike FB, Reddit, YT, Instagram and etc. Where as a guy I get swamped with crap I don't want to see just to get to the stuff I do.

When you are a conservatve and you subscribed to conservative stuff only or when you are a child and you are on Twitter for child stuff, the site probably won´t come up with porn, I guess. I have read that Twitter users post their porn stuff on Twitter (and other places) though to share it with each other. As the above article says, it is unlawful to post porn online in Germany when there is no kind of age restriction.
