Twin Peaks: The Return thoughts

I was wondering if anyone watched the new Twin Peaks season?

I loved what we got, but didn't like the execution. For me it felt like Lynch and Frost had 2 or more seasons worth of ideas (maybe they came up with them when the show first aired). Then decided since they didn't know if they would get another season or didn't want to do another season to make an 18 hour long movie with the best ideas.

I understand. It is better if you binge watch it. The individual episodes don't work as episodes of a show, but work well if you watch it together.
