A good education is a balanced education. Both sides of the story, all perspectives, should be taught and explored. It isn't right not to include the conservative side, but when SOME people say "conservative" side they mean philosophies such as not teaching evolution and only teaching that abortion is murder and that homosexuality is an abomination, that blacks are not as intelligent and only have themselves to blame for their current plight...like that. That isn't fair either. Every professor will have an opinion, but a good teacher always presents both sides of the story.I would have to say that he graduated from the third grade about 60 years ago, and never went any further. Anyone that does not realize that the universities here teach just about any political philosophy you know of. That is called education.
True to some extent, but with a heavy leftist bent. Talk to a conservative or right wing student sometime if you know one. You will see that all is not roses here either. We just haven't gone as far yet and hopefully will stop it before we do.
Most of those who most bitterly oppose public education and call it "indoctrination" seem to be mostly lathered up about putting condoms on bananas and teaching kids not to be bullies. I don't see what's wrong with either of those things, actually. It takes practice getting a condom on--don't want any accidents, right? It's not communist to teach about diversity or to teach sex education (since too many parents can't be bothered) or to teach kids to tolerate each other. Communists HATE diversity and tolerance.
