Modern dictatorships tend to oppose women's rights. They would even without Russia. Turkey and Iran are allied with Russia, but it's more out of convenience.

Saudi Arabia is even worse. Bolsonaro also opposes women's rights. It's a "thing" for jerks to prove they are "men".

The UK, Poland, Czech Republic etc didn't ratify that treaty.
