“How can Deranged Jack Smith bring a case on January 6th., as ridiculous as it is anyway, when I have already won such a case, and been fully acquitted, in the U.S. Senate?” Trump asked on his Truth Social website.

“In other words, I was Impeached on this, and WON!!! ELECTION INTERFERENCE & PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT, all rolled up as one. We are truly a Nation In Decline!”

Donald Trump recently signaled that if he is charged for the January 6 riots, he will undoubtedly use the bogus claims about the stolen, rigged elections. “We’ll have fun on the stand with all of these people that say the Presidential Election wasn’t Rigged and Stollen. THE TRIAL OF THE CENTURY!!!,” the former president said in a post on his Truth Social account on July 26, per Bloomberg.

Trump followed that post with several other all-capital-letter exclamations, “2024 ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!” “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!!!” “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”

"Joe Biden is the most corrupt President in the history of the United States, which is being undeniably proven in the House of Representatives every single day,” asserted Trump before turning his attention to members of his own party in the Senate. “But with all of these horrible revelations and facts, why hasn’t Republican ‘leadership’ in the Senate spoken up and rebuked Crooked Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats, Fascists, and Marxists for their criminal acts against our Country, some of them against me.”

“How long does America have to wait for the Senate to ACT?” he asked incredulously.

Trump told Fox News Digital shortly after the superseding indictment was filed that he believed the latest charges amounted to “election interference at the highest level,” calling the allegations “ridiculous.”

“This is prosecutorial misconduct used at a level never seen before,” Trump said. “If I weren’t leading Biden by a lot in numerous polls, and wasn’t going to be the Republican nominee, it wouldn’t be happening. It wouldn’t be happening.”

The former president told Fox News Digital that the country “is suffering from DOJ abuse,” adding, “Hopefully the Republican Party will do something about it.”

It's much easier for Biden to defeat Trump in the courtroom than at the polls on election day. Don't doubt me that's what they're thinking,

There will be no win or lose of an election in a courtroom.

Trump himself says he'll continue to run.

your stance makes absolutely no sense.

Trump would've been investigated and indicted regardless of if he decided to run. He's running to escape it all

“If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified — even by thinking about it,” Trump said. “Because you’re sending it to Mar-a-Lago or wherever you’re sending it. There doesn’t have to be a process. There can be a process, but there doesn’t have to be.”

This is an interesting question Trump posed, worthy of discussion.

“2024 ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!” “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!!!” “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
This is also an interesting point, worthy of discussion. Except for the "MAGA" quote; all Americans should support that.

"Joe Biden is the most corrupt President in the history of the United States,
This is possibly true. We'll see if Trump is right. Sure looks like it to me.

Trump told Fox News Digital shortly after the superseding indictment was filed that he believed the latest charges amounted to “election interference at the highest level,”
This is clearly a true statement, IMO.
“This is prosecutorial misconduct used at a level never seen before,”
The Deep State is trying to prevent Trump from ever running for office again. That's indisputable, as the Cheney's even made a political ad which stated such about the Jan 6th hearings when Liz lost re-election big time.

Jack Smith is doing the same.

They need to let Americans decide Trump's fate at the ballot box.

Trump said. “If I weren’t leading Biden by a lot in numerous polls, and wasn’t going to be the Republican nominee, it wouldn’t be happening.
I think that statement is true as well. Biden had classified docs from his time in the Senate! He had no right to possess those (not president, couldn't declassify, no presidential records act applicable.), but he's not been charged, just like all the others.

Regards,
Jim

How is it you can see Don is a dumb corrupt fool, but not Joe?

Wasn’t it Orwell in 1984 who described this strange psychological thinking? Something about holding two contradictory opinions without recognizing it.

quotes: When Robert S. Mueller III, the first special counsel to investigate Donald J. Trump, concluded his investigation into the ties between Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia, his report raised questions about whether Mr. Trump had obstructed his inquiry.

Justice Department officials and legal experts were divided about whether there was enough evidence to show Mr. Trump broke the law, and his attorney general — chosen in part because he was skeptical of the investigation — cleared him of wrongdoing.

Four years after Mr. Mueller’s report was released, Jack Smith, the second special counsel to investigate Mr. Trump, added new charges on Thursday to an indictment over his handling of classified documents, setting out evidence of a particularly blatant act of obstruction.

The indictment says that just days after the Justice Department demanded security footage from Mar-a-Lago, his residence and private club in Florida, Mr. Trump told the property manager there that he wanted security camera footage deleted. If proved, it would be a clearer example of criminality than what Mr. Mueller found, according to Andrew Goldstein, the lead investigator on Mr. Mueller’s obstruction investigation.

quotes:

The accusation about Mr. Trump’s desire to have evidence destroyed adds another chapter to what observers of his career say is a long pattern of gamesmanship on his part with prosecutors, regulators and others who have the ability to impose penalties on his conduct.

And it demonstrates how Mr. Trump viewed the conclusion of the Mueller investigation as a vindication of his behavior, which became increasingly emboldened — particularly in regards to the Justice Department — throughout the rest of his presidency, a pattern that appears to have continued despite having lost the protections of the office when he was defeated in the election.

In his memoir of his years in the White House, John R. Bolton, who served as Mr. Trump’s third national security adviser, described Mr. Trump’s approach as “obstruction as a way of life.”

“‘the boss’ wanted the server deleted,”

In June of last year, in the midst of its efforts to retrieve classified material Mr. Trump had taken from the White House upon leaving office, the Justice Department served a grand jury subpoena on Mr. Trump’s organization for surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago that would show how boxes of the documents had been handled, especially around a storage room where many of them had been stashed.

Shortly after the Trump Organization received the subpoena, the revised indictment said, the former president called Mar-a-Lago’s property manager and head of maintenance, Carlos De Oliveira. The two men spoke for 24 minutes, prosecutors say.

Two days later, Mr. De Oliveira and another defendant in the case, Mr. Trump’s valet, Walt Nauta, “went to the security guard booth where surveillance video is displayed on monitors, walked with a flashlight through the tunnel where the storage room was located, and observed and pointed out surveillance cameras.”

Days later, Mr. De Oliveira had a private conversation with the Mar-a-Lago employee in charge of the surveillance footage. The conversation was supposed to “remain between the two of them,” according to the charging document.

Mr. De Oliveira told the employee that “‘the boss’ wanted the server deleted,” the indictment said.

Biden beat Trump at the polls. He kicked Trump's ass over the moon.

Then Trump tried to overthrow our democracy and that is why his ass is in a sling now.

You don't get to incite a coup and get away with it. Not in a country which believes in the rule of law.

Trump can eat shit and die.
