Trump University Plaintiff Law Firm Paid Clintons $450,000 for Speeches

"It comes to light from LawNewz that the law firm Robbins Geller appointed by Judge Gonzalo Curiel to represent a plaintiff in the Trump University class action suits has another connection to Hillary Clinton beyond a $2700 campaign contribution from firm chairman Darren Robbins. LawNewz did not mention the firm’s connection to the Trump University case. The information was apparently retrieved from a Washington Post data base with the Clinton financial filings on file. (The Post itself has not reported on this connection.)

It seems that Robbins Geller "paid the Clintons nearly half a million dollars in less than a year." Why? Speeches of course.

That’s right. One of the law firms picked by the Judge in the Trump University case — the very Judge Donald Trump accuses by name of anti-Trump bias — awarded this firm the case after — say again after — Hillary and Bill Clinton had been paid a cool $450,000 for two speeches by the firm."

No surprise there is a Clinton connection. Character assassination is Hillary's only hope.

So what? You mean he can't take on the case because he actually wants to win the case?

Wow. Looks like you got something there.

I heard that the judge’s nephew’s barber was once dating the niece of a junior partner at the law firm too.

And this lawsuit began when? Before Trump was even the presumptive nominee or even announced his run, no?

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd Files Consumer Class Action against Trump University

On April 30, 2010, Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, LLP filed a nationwide class action lawsuit against Trump University, along with the law firm of Zeldes & Haeggquist, LLP (www.zhlaw.com), on behalf of consumers who were duped into purchasing Trump University real estate investing seminars.

Trump University markets itself as a University to "train, educate and mentor entrepreneurs on achieving financial independence through real estate investing." In true fact, it is anything but. In January, 2010, the Better Business Bureau gave Trump University a D-minus rating, and the New York Department of Education recently reprimanded Trump University for using "University" in its title as it is "misleading and violates New York Education Law and the Rules of the Board of Regents."

Yeah so what? The law firm in question isn't representing Trump, they're representing plaintiff(s) against Trump.

Let the case be decided based on it's merits in a court of law not based on what connections the scumbag lawyers have.

You've done a great job of understanding what the OP was trying to say. You should be proud.

Why doesn't it surprise me that you've never heard of a court appointed attorney?

The plaintiff lawyers weren't appointed by this judge. How fucking retarded can you get? Every day it's 10 IQ points lower.
NightFox was thinking back to when he got caught exposing himself to little children at a playground, and as an indigent criminal defendant living in his mother's basement, the judge appointed counsel for him at no cost.
