Trump supporter looking to win SC congressional seat Tuesday

In very read SC, which has been gerrymandered as have most if not all other states, the GOP candidate should win and win big. If the win isn't by wide margin, political strategists working for any presidential candidate will see the "writing on the wall" and the GOP, Trump, will likely not win in 2020. I doubt the 2018 midterm elections, because of the gerrymandering I mentioned, will yield material changes in the makeup of the U.S. House or Senate. 2018's election may produce notable changes in the partisan composition of state legislatures, but I don't track the political goings on in all 50 states to know whether to expect that be so.
