It's how they've decided to deal with this presidency, so by saying he's not willing to talk until they cut the shit, he's saying there will be no discussions on anything. They don't care, they lose nothing, as they never intend to do a deal on this or anything else with this guy so they lose nothing by his refusing to talk and gain the perceptive high ground, as now they'll claim he is putting his own interests ahead of the good of the people by refusing to work on anything, asking them to quash investigations to move forward, blackmailing the American people blah, blah, blah....

It's a long way off yet...but places that Trump took by surprise in 2016 are NOT looking good for Trump at this point. Remember, the EC put him in office. The Dems will have a play in plan for that this time. Plus we've had approx. 4 million more illegals enter the country and they will be voting in 2020 in CA and NY at least.

I doubt he can win in 2020. My prediction. That or he'll drop a bombshell and bow out of the running.

He said he would make a deal with NK...no deal.
He said he would get an infrastructure deal...no deal.
He said he would get a new and better Obamacare 'deal'...no deal.
He said he would get a new NAFTA that was WAY better..he got one and it ain't..it's better in some small ways but it is actually worse in some significant ways for America.

He did not say he would 'try'...he said he 'would' make these deals.

Trump is a TERRIBLE negotiator.

Or he could do it like Obama, give the other side of the table everything they want...and then some...and then you all can brag about all the deals Obama got done.

Schumer was prepared with a 30 page document outlining possible ways to finance infrastructure. The Democrats were there to discuss a deal. Perhaps Trump should get someone to read that book that he had ghost written to him. His negotiating skills suck.
