US President Donald Trump reportedly told Jordan’s King Abdullah II at the White House a few weeks ago that, in the absence of a negotiated solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Israel will have a prime minister named Muhammad in a few years time.

Trump’s reported remark was detailed on Sunday night by Israel’s Channel 10 news, which described it as “sarcastic” and “semi-jocular,” but also as containing a grain of truth. The TV report said its veracity had been confirmed by both an Israeli and an American source, but that the White House and the Jordanian Embassy in Washington, DC, have refused to comment on it.

According to the TV report, the US president’s face-to-face comment to Abdullah was in turn relayed by the Jordanian king to the French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves le Drian, during a meeting they had in Amman in early August.

The goal of the Arabs is dominance over the Israelis. With the Arabs being the majority the Israelis will have no say or voice. The PLO already made a formal statement that the Israelis are not entitled to pray at the Western Wall. Let them keep knocking their heads against the wall; it will get them nowhere

Some things that are said as political rhetoric are just so much noise. One needs to filter them out. They only influence souls of a like mind (or those with no mind at all).

This question of the "Western Wall" (the last visible structure of the Second Temple) is a political struggle. From a Western democratic, moral and logical standpoint, anyone should be able to have access and pray at the Wall. It is not a matter of "rights," Rights are a human political construct made by man (those in power to shape and influence the culture). Just as "rights" are conceptual decrees by man, so it is that conflict and fighting are over these issues are inventions made by man. The strap-hanging connection of religion and rights are merely justifications (by one side or the other) to engage in armed struggle.
